Only a week left now. Deco is being made as I type this and should be the best Texas has seen to date. Psylotus is an amazing deco artist and creator.

We have added to the attractions and activities of the festival as well.

To get presales and save a bit of cash go here, http://www.bitterblossom.com/tickets.php .

ACTIVITIES

Swimming

South Shore Park (directions) on Lake Bastrop is 30 miles from the venue, with swimming, canoeing, fishing, and many other activities. Festival goers are encouraged to go during the day to cool off and relax. There is a $3 per person entrance fee.

Vending

Provided by local vendors:

* Ararat restaurant(vegetarian food)
* Amaranth Healer (Intuitive readings & prayer hoops)
* Bodhi Body Art (Henna & glitter tattoos)
* Ed The Medicine Man (Hookah Lounge)

Ecology Action
"Ecology Action of Texas was founded in 1970 as an all-volunteer group that sought to promote a variety of environmental issues, most notably recycling. Today our mission is to educate and empower people to create a healthier environment through waste prevention and accessibility to recycling".
EA will be on site with information on recycling in the Austin area: what can be recycled, what facilities accept certain materials, and how you can get involved!

Treasure City Thrift
Treasure City is committed to recycling its waste and reuse items that cannot be resold. Many things destined for the landfill still have a life worth living and every item at Treasure City is either donated or reclaimed from the waste stream. We even take items that other thrift stores refuse to touch. Croquet

A croquet tournament will be held during the day. USCA 9-wicket rules will be observed.

We will be posting up timeslots for both stages/ both days on Tuesday or Wednesday, we've got them all worked out, but a little suspense is always fun.

Unfortunately, due to the threat the storm would present to our crowd, we are moving Bitter Blossom indoors. The party will now be held @ Afterlife in Dallas, TX. Full info and updates are coming tomorrow with revised line-ups. This will now be a one day Saturday only event with 3 stages. The cost of the event will be $15 at the door. All presale tickets will be refunded. We hope that you all understand that our concern is mainly for the safety of our crowd. So, we will see you all at Afterlife.

ALL HEADLINERS WILL BE THERE!!!

Afterlife is located at
1819 W Northwest Highway
Dallas, TX 75220

Mr. Hurricane Ike isn't messing around right now. I continued to think that it was going to just quit or turn around but it's heading right for us. Flatonia is only about an hour and a half from Houston. There was nothing that could be done about this. Winds at about 55 mph and heavy rain on Saturday and Sunday....So best ting that could be done is move it to Afterlife. Plenty of room and the storm isn't suppose to hit Dallas by that time. Here is a link for the weather http://www.weather.com/weather/weeke...nav_undeclared
and here is what the hurricane is doing.... http://www.weather.com/maps/news/atl...om=newslinker3           Jessica

This party was awesome! Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen and to all the people who came out despite the hurricane and change of location. All three dancefloors were rocking pretty much the entire time, with the people there dancing so hard at times it felt like there were twice as many people as there were. Great sets by Niki, Psylotus and all the other artists i managed to catch. Also Psylotus' deco was fantastic...very inspiring considering he had planned for an outdoor fest and left all his indoor pieces at home... seriously if you can bring this guy to your party, do so cause you wont regret it!!!!
Thanks so much to Jeff and Adrienne from Shiva Shakti, Kent from Squid Collective and to rest of both crews as well as Brian, Jessica and all the bad-asses from Dallas, you guys rock!
Hope to come back again and stomp even harder...           http://www.myspace.com/800deathsticks

I had a kick ass time even though it was moved 4 hours away (in my backyard) to a warehouse. Great music playing on every stage at that party. This was my first psytrance party where progressive and full on was on one stage and "dark psy" on the other. It seemed that the dance floor on both stages was coming in waves. That's to be expected though when you know good music is being played on every stage. Psylotus did a great job on the deco. He told me he went from having a day and + all weekend to play with deco to setting it up in like 3 hours and it was still rawkin. Great sets from Niki,Psylotus, unwashed tomato,Andy Christ,800 death sticks, and Artifakt..Sorry I missed ut on everyone else.

The afterparty at my house was well..........Strange. I usually don't invite random strangers but it seemed that everyone had all their friends. It was cool though just a TON of people. Most of the people ended up leaving by 9am and then the REAL after party stared with all my family!! lol.. Really it was cool hangin out with Andychrist,Psylotus,David, and all my texas trancers buddies in the late morning. You guys RAWK..

Thanks Shiva Shakit and Squid for making this party still happen. We had a great time dancing the night away and chillin with all of you.

Tis a tad late on my reply for this board, but I still have to let everyone know how much fun there was to be had at Afterlife that night. Chris - Psylotus' deco was wonderful. He totally changed the look and feel of that place and made it look far better than I have ever seen it. The artists that I caught that I thoroughly enjoyed were Psylotus, Niki, Unwashed Tomato, 800 Deathsticks & AndyChrist. I caught a little bit of Artifakt and Darksinamurti vs Mist and enjoyed that as well.

Yeah the afterparty at my house was a teetering a little on the crazy side. I am glad I was prepared ahead of time for the massive amount of total strangers that I was about to walk in on. All in all everything worked out just fine. Sorry Andy, Dave, Chris & Adrienne.....I would have liked to hang out more, but my ass was spent and 6 hours blew by heart in the blink of an eye.

Thanks again to Shiva Shakti and The Squiddies for pulling off a kick ass event no matter what the obstacles!!!           Brian - Uhm
