i dunno, i think chong has a point. it's one thing letting everyone know that you are around and wanting gigs; but it's the way that he goes about it which leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. it's unrelenting, in your face, and not really what this scene is all about. in almost every european festival thread there's a message along the lines of "hey mate!!! will try to make it over to your killar festival!! especially if you would book me HEHEHEHEHEHEHE"
he is a good dj, so maybe he should just let that do the talking for him, or at the very least carry out his self-promotion in private, so it doesn't look quite so obvious that he is desperate to keep on climbing the psytrance ladder.

Lurk...I'm sorry 2 c that u still got that lovely talent to see something bad in good things like u always had in the years you were living in A'dam 2....guess that's why you and I never got along. Lemme tell you some and straighten you out though brother...First of all..the last intention I got is to climb that "ladder" or whatever hierarchic weird pyramid structure you got in mind. There is nothing to climb for me in this scene and as far as there is a top in this scene...nowadays that so-called top is mainly a bunch of ego- & power-tripping coke-sniffing dorks that lost all contact with what real psychedelic trance and experiences are truly about. Fame, money, chicks and drugs are what many so called big-shots in our scene mainly/only do it for and I have no intention to really mingle amongst such boring and narrow-minded personalities unless it's unavoidable. The only reason why I say "hi & hello" and support many promoters and friends here is because I like to support the posts of people that I know and love here. That despite the fact that I'm sure that cynical black energy in your brain and heart will straight away laugh about what I write here and just think "yeah..sure dude..all u do is kissing ass". Personally I couldn't care less what u or other people think 2 be honest. You've never been my kinda people 'cause all you know and do is to focus on the possibility (not even proven and none of you truly knows me so who are you to judge me at all  ) that I MIGHT indeed suck ass to get bookings. Well...think what u want mate, you're gonna do that anyway and you always did also during the years you talked behind my back about me in Amsterdam with ur buddies.....also then I couldn't care less 'cause you were 1 of that typical kind of people that love to talk bad about others without EVER having spoken a word with them, me in this case, you never ever had the balls to come up to me and have a personal chat and say the things to me you always said behind my back, now how's that for being fucked up....and then I should listen to you when you got the lame talent to judge me over here For me all that's important is that I get along with those people I love and like. If I want 2 say hi and wish someone goodluck then I do so, also without your approval....which should show you I don't kiss ass somehow, but I trust your to stuck in your brainpattern to get that....anyway....maybe some light will shine through your paranoid negative brainwaves someday and u might see that all me and friends do is support eachother. If I want a booking then I got the right to ask for it, and I do this for my son to be able to offer him a future. Next to that you say that in every festival post there's a line which says:""hey mate!!! will try to make it over to your killar festival!! especially if you would book me HEHEHEHEHEHEHE"
Well mate....I'm very curious where u found ALL those comments 'cause I just looked around but all I see is me saying high and wishing goodluck, or me stating I'm happy with my booking and saying thanks. Next to that, more then half of the list of bookings I got IS THANKS TO PROMOTERS CONTACTING ME !!! (If you believe that or not is again NOT gonna cause any sleepless nights here  ) There has been 1 post of the Guatamala Festival of my friend Hernan (which I know since 1996 !) that he should book me for the next one which was to remind him of the fact that he was possibly interested......and straight away mr. Justin Chaos had to get all excited and couldn't help himself serving up some real badtaste UK humor and trying to make me look like an ass....great job Justin, that showed some really great character...(NOT!) And now you again and Chong....who are you at all to be such judgemental ***** (fill in the word urself...it starts with a P) My only job right now is to dj and run my label and there is no other way to garantuee my money income for me and my family then to promote myself very hard. Like mr. Delysid said it well...almost every artist does that, untill they don't have to anymore...or they at least got friends helping them to do so. I promote a lot of artists, I fix them bookings also, dj's as well as live-acts, when and wherever I can and there's lots of people that can back that up if needed. I plug many tracks of acts into releases of many labels of friends and this is what I love and like to do. I'm sure you got at least 5 compilations in your collection of the last 2 years on which I fixed 1 or more tunes...and you know why Pretty simple answer  : Because those guys come to me and ASK me for help.....and I simply love to help them....since when is it wrong to ask for anything? I have a son to feed and myself on top of it, and I support the mother of my child for the last half a year 'cause she can't work cause of a small accident during her pregnancy....so maybe that makes you understand a bit why I do promote myself everywhere. Exposure is needed nowadays, there's more dj's then fucking cops in this world almost and if I don't stick my head out and wave a flag around with "here I am" then I'll simply be forgotten, cause many good dj's get forgotten and many crap dj's are big nowadays 'cause of a kick-ass promotion machine they got going. Talent is not the 1st quality for booking a dj anymore nowadays unfortunately  I love dj-ing and my family more then anything in the world, so once more I ask you Lurk..and you Chong.....who are you to criticize me ? Pointing your fingers around to people in the world you never even had a word with...'cause you're just to lame to even ask what the real reasons are for someone to promote himself? I care shit about ego and all the bullshit so many guys/girls are stuck up on nowadays in our scene. I see more "rockstars & moneymuppets" around then ever before and the last I'm personally interested in is to climb that so called "ladder" of yours....and least I am is desperate to get bookings. I just work hard for what I believe in and I found out that if I work hard and make myself noticed that my chances grow. I see nothing but sad & pathetic envyness coming from you both here...and more people like mr. Justin Chaos and a few more that always somehow got their judgements ready on the spot when they see someone having succes or being happy (like the response to Chromosome in Soulclipse Festival post) I think you guys should finally take a few good drops of acid and get that blur out of your brain....'cause u truly have no clue what you're talking about. I'm an upright person and come and talk to me personally...if you dare that is. You talk about me and that I should contact promoters private? Why do you put your filth and judgements here b4 ever trying to talk to me personally and in private I'd be surprised if u got the balls for that, but try me out and u might be surprised....and to do so with an open mind and giving someone a fair chance to explain why instead of allready having ur judgements ready....now that would take a bit more effort than raising a finger and shouting "he's kissing ass" sitting on your favourite couch of course  Anyway....this was my version of the story to clarify why I do what I do so maybe that gets through ur thick heads and makes you chill out someday, realizing that you actualy had no fucking clue there's 3 people depending on my income....and I'm not allowed to work here in Venezuela right now and I can't find a job from here in Europe that easily also. Dj-ing is what I do, I do it well and with lots of love and passion and despite what you believe in, a lotta promoters are grateful and happy 4 me contacting them and I feel the same about them booking me....so we're all happy....and ur the nitwitz stuck on a couch with ur fingers pointing in the air towards others.....that's kinda sad & pathetic don't you think :?:

If you had read my post carefully, rather than letting the red mist descend and block
your vision, you'd have seen that i had nothing against you promoting yourself, it's the way
that you do it that i find wrong, and i think that selection of urls proves my point; you
could have sent 7 private messages instead.
I'm not going to reply to your rant bit by bit, but there are a couple of things I do want
to say. It's now 10 years since I moved to Groningen, in Holland, where you used to live
as well (I have actually spoken to you at parties back then, but you probably don't remember,
which is fair enough) and in the succeeding 8 years I saw you around regularly, in Amsterdam
as well, and heard a lot about you, from people who would know. You were always the person who
used to turn up at parties with his tunes even when you hadn't been invited to play, and then
try and invite yourself onto the decks. You were always the person dancing in the DJ booth all
night, even if you weren't involved in the party; and if you weren't in the DJ booth you were
dancing right in front of it. You always wanted to be the center of attention. Your behaviour on this forum is just the internet equivilant of
that.
And if you were here now, in the same room, i would say it to your face. but you're not, so this
will have to do.

Rhakti Dei promoter Dries/Dj Oonah is a friend/good collegue for quite a while and is trying to get me in the line-up, right now it depends on the rest of the team if that will work out but he's pushing me hard, so that's again another 1 why I'm not sure yet if I play or not....again no "begging" for a gig but just a hint about what possibly might happen or not (you loose again ! )

Haha..this gets better and better....Maldek asked me to send a whole bookings list of my label artists and of Mechanik/Acidance for her fresh new bookings agency. She's interested to get me over and artists that I can offer. P.S.: The reason for being around the dj-boot a lot was cause most of my friends happen to dj...and it's a safe place to put my stuff and not having to bother the wardrobe people every 10 minutes of have it stolen The reason why I was IN the dj-boot a lot...was 'cause they let me...and I like to skin up a few fatties for my buddies when they play 'cause I like that also when someone does that for me...... 
But yeah..with you mind presets that's gotta look all really different.....sad...and different, hope u get a glimpse some day of what was really going on Mind Funk Records
