Has anybody else here read this book..It is by Gregory David Roberts..It is the most beautifully written and inspiring book I have ever read. It will be a movie in 2009 with Johnny Depp. No matter how bad things may seem you can always persevere!!! Check it out, and if you read it please share your thoughts |

i loved it.... probably one of my all time favorites... is the movie seriously coming out? ive been hearing about it for a bit...
you can still find him in cafe leopold in bombay... the setting of many of the sequences in the book.

i dont think the shooting has yet started for the movie but wen it gets relesed it's gonna be a classic for sure 
the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!! |

I read that shooting for the film will begin next month with a realease for late 2009 early 2010. I am sure that the movie should be of good substance given that GDR is writing the screenplay. I am hoping the sequel will come out soon, any word? |

Really nice book about his life in my city...though sometimes he gets a little to descriptive of EVERYTHING. Awesome read though!

wow i just read that Leopold's cafe was one place that was attacked my militants in Mumbai today, how sad. I hope they are ok and recover. my thoughts are with them |
