Deep in the Kootenay Mountain range, the Salmo River Ranch begins its annual transformation. Arcadian pastures evolve into a futuresque setting on an epic scale. Shambhala Music Festival Ltd is located on the Salmo River Ranch in Salmo, BC, Canada. The Ranch is located on #7790 Hwy #3, 6km east of Salmo, BC. The ranch is accessible by a 6 km dirt road.

Judging by the absence of Raja Ram on the lineup, I suspect it's Simon playing a Shpongle live/DJ set. Though of course I could be wrong..
very nice lineup, btw - especially on the chill side (Ott!! Adam Shaikh! FP, Interchill, etc - very solid indeed). And alterna/breaks side of things looks good too. I've heard very good things about Zilla, they're an instrumental electronic band. eDIT and Kraddy both do fun live PAs - psychedelic as heck and without the 4/4. And of course, it's in Nelson, the stoner capital of North America.

I've been scouring the forum at shambhala website for ride offers but have had no luck - I'm flying in to Vancouver from nyc but need a ride from Van..anyone on this forum driving up to Shambhala from there?

Sure will find you monkey..cant wait for Shambhala. Still looking for a ride and people to camp with but I have faith in the wonderful tribe which will gather in this festival.
