Is it just me, or has there been a boring trend lately with those remix-CD’s? Come on: 9 full on artists remixing 9 full on tracks – how about some more diversity?

Don’t get me wrong though – it’s not that I hate full on. For instance I love Protoculture and Silicon Sound , and I think Sesto Sento have released some very good tracks over the years ("Sestomentos", "Cookie Stealer", "Dive 2 Drive") - Com.Pact was actually also one of my favourite labels up till just over a year ago.

That being said, I wish you the best           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

I think this will be a good release.
I heard Protoculture's remix and it is worth to buy for sure, I can play it in any set of mine (great sample: "Welcome to EARTH!").

I bet there will be other "playable tunes" on this release... Waiting for it to be available on Brazil... I surely want an original copy.

I agree with pr0fane,they needed to take other styles of electronic music like proggressive,chill-out,break beat and then make a remix CD.

Well anyway good luck with that release .           Skate 0R Die

the tracklist looks great.. i just hope the remixers can live up to there names..

and i have to agree with Profane, like, its bad enough all the full-on artists pretty much sound the same, imagine the difference when they remix eachother.. hehe

still, i'll get myself a copy just for the silicon sound remix.           "VA - REWIRED" OUT NOW !! (techtrance invasion) ---> http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/86303/forum/9

I think if someone thinks all full on artists sound the same he should go to hospital because of ear damage. It's the same as saying that all country flags in this post are the same. For sure they're all flags, but if you can't see the difference, you must be wasted...

If someone can't notice the difference between GMS, Silicon Sound, CPU, Sesto Sento and Protoculture then I recommend you to take a break in the chill out.

Sesto sento has already released 2 completely different HIGH QUALITY albums, dozens of tracks in all sort of labels, their side project Ferby Boys released a lot too and Sesto Matan alone with his side project GATAKA released 2 good albums. It's more than most other artists in our scene, and most of it was good, just check the review session.

I think right now is the perfect time for me to have a original copy of these remixes.

Respect!

PrOfane and Memory Loss:
well, how about listening to the album first and giving some concrete and true comments, rather than speculate and wise-ass without really knowing what you're talking about?

I wasn't expecting a reply like that – I don't think my comment was in any way disrespectful, and as quite loyal supporter of Com.Pact (I have bought somewhere between 8 and 10 of their releases) don't you think it's quite fair that I say my honest opinion without only praising?

Anyways ... I have heard the samples already, and the only ones that seem to really drastically stand out from the morning full on style are the remixes by CPU (more nighttime 3D Vision style) and Silicon Sound (running at 138 BPM). I'm not saying it sounds bad – the Aquatica, Silicon Sound, Protoculture, Pop Stream and GMS remixes actually sound pretty nice. But would it really be so bad with some more diversity (that's what made me like Com.Pact in the first place)? I mean, only a few years ago they released some very tasty compilations with a splendid mix of full on and progressive – and only a few months ago they released the new Lish-album. And with a new chillout compilation on the way, it's not like they don't know their way around chillout either           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase
