I also want to say thank you to everyone who made this festival so damn fun!! great music, shame about the rain cutting off Digbeez, but it was worth the 10 hour drive!!

I had some amazing moments at this event and some pretty miserable ones as well.. here's a quick rundown

the best:

Loopus in Fabula on Sunday morning (one of the most entertaining live PA sets evarrr!!!)

VJ Videolicious on Saturday @ chill and Sunday @ mainstage (best visuals i've seen, and i've seen a bunch!!)

Kukan's chill set (i heard it from a distance, but it still sounded wonderful)

Fria's DJ set (she has some killarrrrr tunes for sure)

playing a 3.5 hour DJ set after Fria (from dark into and past sunrise, my favoritest time-slot) - and seeing all the progressive heads get freaky to twisted morning music at 148 bpm.

the amazing venue and all the beautiful people present... cheers to all the canucks I met for the first time, you guys are a great bunch.

the not-so-good..

the MUD.. our truck got stuck and it took about 2 hours to get everything together and pull it out. as a result, we missed our flight. this is not really the organizers' fault of course, but still very annoying.

general rain preparedness - very bad rain protection at the main stage, problems with wet equipment, water dropping on the main DJ mixer (thank god someone put TP nearby so i could wipe it off every minute or two, he he), no cover for the dancers, lack of covered space for the workshops - which meant no workshops took place afaik.

lack of deco. there were a few nice backdrops behind the DJ on the main stage on Fri and Sat night, but they got taken down on Sunday due to rain. There was no other deco to speak of, which detracted from the ambiance at the chill and main stages.

anyways.. I missed Jaia's set but heard it was great. Missed much of Sat. night because i was tired after playing a long set at chill (kudos for the great chill lineup, btw - the music @ the chill was consistently top notch all weekend)

This is a sweet location and the organizers have the right intent (and great taste in music to boot) - i think with proper preparation and budget this festival could eventually turn into one of the premier festivals in North America. I'm looking forward to next year.

          ..it's just another party..

I'm home now!

It was a great adventure for me, respect and thanks to all that were involved, which also means by visiting and dancing.

It was a real pleasure to meet you all, orginizers and the artist squad.

I have to rest now.

Tyler, I'm so glad to have met you and Alicia! What a beautiful couple you are!

Thanks to Stas and everyone involved with Ganesha, Ro and his family for the use of their 200+ acres of majestic land!
This was my first Festival and it was truely magical!

So worth the 19 hour drive there and back home! Fun, laughter... rain... mud, more laughter, incredible music, amazing people! I'm so happy to have met you all.

Christine, your artwork... Wow chick! Awesome! I'm glad I took pics of them.

ProSect was amazing! He kept us warm by dancing like maniacs until the wee hours!
Sonify's set on Sunday was seamless, stunning sound as always!
I hope he gets invited back next year.
Androcell... Sweetness all around! Fantastic chill set. Thank you!

I missed a lot of the Artists sets, unfortunately. Next year will be different!

So nice to have met you Itay. I only got to hear you play briefly, I'm sorry I missed what I'm sure was an awesome set!
I'm now listening to Pink The Floyd from your website to kinda make up for what I missed. Beautiful track!

*Edit from my above post*
Sonify's set was Monday morning, not Sunday....... Sorry Andy!
The days/nights started to merge after awhile.

Oh hey, anyone else have pics to post here? I'm sure more people took photos!

Until Samadhi 2007... Peace to all!
