Secret Mongoose - Manali Dream
hey all,
back with another track from our studio in south india. as always, mastering/eq still to be done - but these are some samples from the new track that i just had to put up today. if you liked the last one, you'll love this one.
One could almost call it a severely remixed version of Logic Bombs - 3rd Revelation
comments - criticsm appreciated.
let me know what you think
(using bad speakers for mixing/levels at the moment, several things that need a lot more presence, will be done shortly).

thanks for the compliments.
the way we are working on this project at the moment, because of time restraints - we end up doing all the EQ/mastering work in our last stage. None of that has been done as yet, which is why the quality of the sound is not too great right now. i was looking for general criticism on the types of sound, arrangement, percussion etc..
will post final version online as soon as i get back from my holiday.
any more comments ?

different side of your production... not as twisted as the last... inetresting work with the leads from 3rd revelation, you should send the demo to their scandanavian studios 
i also particularly like the indian classical vocals... "din thak.. din thak"  in the middle of the trck blends into the leads very well !!

Hello
i listen your tracks and i like it. its not my kind of music but i can see good ideas. about the sound quality, its not so bad as i see here ppl saying. i hear a lot worse here in isratrance, but i agree about some improvements. afterall we're always emproving ourselfs everyday.. i think you could develop some more melodies or some ambients. about thelogic bomb "remix", its easy to play teir melodi, hehe but i dont see it as a good rmx, after all the original is much better  you should try to improve it instead of copying it hehe but as i said i like your ideas and i see a lot of potencial in your production technic. Keep the good work
i'll be waiting for more secret mongoose tracks.
btw were are you from?

fingax - thanks for the compliments.
both the tracks have been put up completely unmastered. we're not giving out the mastered versions just yet
about the logic bomb "remix" - was never really meant to be one. we liked a few of their melodies, and as a tribute to that track in particular, we wanted to include them to bring back that 3rd revelation feel. Werent really copying their music. Besides - Jonas from Logic Bomb thinks its a pretty good track actually
More to be coming soon though - we're working on some darker tracks under a different project as well. Secret Mongoose is from India.

Review
Lysergic Paradox
1. Need and effect with delay at every crash because sounds like empty when effects stop abruptly.
2.Bassline could be fattened a bit by ultramaximiser
3.Mother fucker sample no need it’s better without it in my opinion
4. At 8.38 there is a high pitched sweep no need or make more low pitched cause it sounds commercial
Manali dream there are only pieces but seems like a great track also!
VERY GOOD WORK MAN KEEP IT UP!!!

blueorb - your the first person to mention those voice samples. my favourite part of the track actually
jeto - illegal ? almost every psytrance track is "illegal" - copyright issues dont exist, considering every track has illegally ripped movie samples. theres been plenty of rmx's of tracks made by pro artists without the original artists permission. and the samples we're just to give you a feel of the track - probably releasing this one soon, so i can't put it up completely. watch out for this one though.
ganjagil - lysergic paradox has since had a lot of changes done it, might post the improved/mastered version up soon. although we have left the voice sample in there, and we definately love the sweep at 8.38 - all a matter of choice i guess.
