MikelaBella Records presents the second and new Kukan Dub Lagan album ‘’Step Ina Rasta Step’’ . After the successful release and sold out of his debut album”Life Is Nice” on Candyflip-records, the new album consists of 12 previously unreleased tracks. The music will take you into the dub dream. The listener will get into a dub journey, that will start with soft melodies, continue to a unique electronic sound that is surrounded by the dub rhythms . High and original quality sound, revive and keep the atmosphere of dub and reggae alive.
Kukan Dub Lagan has already performed live and as a DJ on many parties & festivals around the globe like Israel, Canada, Japan, Spain, Greece, Usa, Croatia, Switzerland and more... and there is surely many more destinations to perform his new album in the future….

Artist profile
KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN is the project of Itay Berger. Itay is 31 years old and comes from Israel.
He started listening to trance music since he was 16 years old. Besides going to parties he sometimes also worked at parties as a sound engineer. His decision to make music was strongly influenced by his trip to ibiza in 1997-8 and visited Juan’s (Muses Rapt) studio. Since then he also started to dj in Israel and abroad at mostly underground parties along big names such as Dede (MDMA), Space Cat, Sunshay (COMPACT), yaniv (Cosmophilia), The Delta, Future Prophecy, Yoda-P.Cok, Banzi (GMS) and others. During his travels also he djed in Cusco, Peru as well as in New York along with Total Eclipse.
His general musical influences come from the following : Salmonella Dub, Pink Floyd, Toires, UK Dub, Bob Marley, Steel Pulse, Mad Professor, Haim Laroz, Faith No More, Pearl Jam, Rolling Stones, Deep Dive Corporation, Massive Attack, UB 40, Nitin Sawhaney
His journey into chill-out djing started in 2002 in Israel.
Meanwhile he was signed by a UK techno-house label (www.klubdj.co.uk) as DJ ITAY for a year and flew to Japan to play at parties in Osaka and Kyoto. Returning back to Israel he enroled to sound engineering college for one year and totally commited himself in music composition. Drawing from his djing experience, his early family musical influences as well as his own musical background he created 3 projects.
His proge psy project is ITAITAIKO, another project is RAIJIN GAIJIN(electro house tech) while his chill-out project is called KUKAN-DUB-LAGAN. It is a combination of three separate words : KUKAN, which means “space” in japanese; DUB which represents the music style; and, LAGAN, comes from the word “ba-lagan” which in hebrew means “chaos”. The music style can be best described as psy-chill free dub. In more simple words “sunshine music for smiling people” !!

MikelaBella Records is a record label based in Jerusalem, Israel. The label was established in the beginning of the year 2007. The label has been created by itay berger a.k.a Kukan-dub-lagan in a purpose to support the scene, and to bring new original sound with out the regular terms of labels.
The main purpose of the label is to release original music and to support existing artists as well as new talent...
The label will have a wide range of styles-from dub to any electronic sound (also to be invented).
