Indeed.
One of the best I've heard in 2005.
It's very moody, it catches you and doesn't let you go, and then you realise you're so into this music...
Wonderful sounds. I guess this is considered to be IDM, but what the heck?
it is definately a very very strong release, for everyone that listens to calm musc. And of course, the production stands out. You think you've heard it, but at the same time it is very edgy and original.
Love it.

On this cd you get the mix of landscape ambient, something of the nineties stuff, hypnotic as if you were standing somewhere in the fog, then some "hop beats", melodies and original beauty and you start thinking - where could I have met this? Fsol, Biosphere, Boards of Canada?
At the same time this CD is in NO WAY a copycat. Recommended!

Leriane is absolutely unbelievably beautiful - you must get the album, it's just one of the things this cd has for you to offer.

Yes this is a wonderful jewel of electronic music. Sending Orb Rec give me the same vibrations in listening classics as Woob, Gas or Miasma on EM:T.

The problem is... the pressing has been limited to 1000 copies and the last time i saw it was in Saikosounds shop but already sold out... and everywhere :/

Try Kettel which is also absolutely amazing and beautiful (Leraine is a co-production with Secede) and still available (1500 copies) or Funckarma for darker sounds.

Also note the magnificents artworks for covers & inlay :9

Wooter, the label manager told about a collaboration between Secede & Kettel for the next release ^^

Thought I missed this release until I wandered here to check what people say about it and at the same minute I saw the news on GregKun's post about the repress I went to Sending Orbs' website and ordered not one but 2 copies. Other for my friend of course.

that's me after listening to the album.
after your recommendations i had to go to the site and order "tryshasla" and also kettel's "through friendly waters". you can imagine my joy when i looked into my mail box and saw two packages waiting for me on the same day: one from sending orbs and the other from psyshop containing "music for a busy head: absolute ambient.com vol.1" and kaya project's "elixir". i must say WOW! they're all quality releases and they also create together a fantastic journey starting from beatless ambient and then gently moving into a more groovier, upbeat direction:
1.music for a busy head
2.secede
3.kettel
4.kaya project

Glad to see that you enjoy the sound

Could i recommend you somethin'? You should also buy the first Secede album on Merck Rec, 1000 copies limited but still available here :

http://cdbaby.com/cd/secede

This LP is more EM:T influenced, longer and offers a larger paletts of electronic sounds.
Even if it don't reach the "magnificence" of Trishasla journey, it's a real pleasure, deep & acting as a real doping agent of imagination.

Voilą.

haha i forgot all about your post until today as i was searching for a "secede" topic. you're right about the merck album. it's fantastic too! "bye bye grid lock traffic" is a real journey from slow and atmospherical themes to very uplifting idmish material. i bought the album yesterday and have been listening to it all day. now i have a hankering for the 3rd album

i recommend the latest Secede EP Vega Libre on Sending Orbs. quality release, not as ambient as the full lenght. reminds me of the orb and other early 90s "ambient techno".
