They arenīt melodies enymore in the music today and the basslines are like created from a freeware program, i miss the old psychedelic style with the emotions, please help me and tell me some artists who produce this style

Well, of course the two Hallucinogen albums "Twisted" and "The Lone Deranger" are absolutely essential if you like "LSD".

After buying those, I would recommend buying some old compilations, and there are A LOT. Go for 1994-98 releases (a lot of them include tracks by Hallucinogen or some of his many sideprojects), and if you find some artists you like here, go on from there. I would personally recommend some other british projects like Green Nuns Of The Revolution, Slinky Wizard (unfortunately there was never a an album released though), Doof and Shakta. Unfortunately many of the compilations and album from that time are sold at outrageous prices between collectors nowadays, but you might get lucky and find a cheap, dusty copy somewhere in a pile of releases at a regular record-dealer.

New stuff? I'm sorry to disappoint you, but only a few labels are releasing oldschool-like goa/psy these days - Tranceform and Suntrip. In my opinion (and I know a lot of loyal followers of these labels will disagree), their releases are nowhere near the classics. Of all the releases I've heard from them, none of them have brought anything I found new or interesting, and they will never be able to have the nostalgia-factor of the classics.

This is ofcourse only my opinion. You might find something you like in their releases, but I recommend going for the REAL oldschool goa/psy, and not new imitations.          DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

I forget, the Lone Damanger is to hard, only twisted and hallucinogen in dub is great from hallucinogen.

Hey, man, Lone Deranger is too hard? Chill... Try Shulman (In search for a meaningful moment, the best chill ever) and some Shpongle tracks...

Try the old Astral Projection stuff (and SFX too), Sandman, Man With No Name, Pleidians, Green Nuns of Revolution and, of course, all Simon Postford tracks.
I think thereīll be no harm in checking the some of the first Infected Mushroom tracks too.

And I think pr0fane has a very good point.

full_on youīre right, i know all the goups that you tell without sandman, i check it out, and itīs right ONLY the FIRST Infected mushroom tracks, because today Infected mushroom the same bad style like the others (A very good example 1200 mics) The live is hard enough without the new psytrance style!

What I don't get is this: you like old style psytrance, but hate how the scene has progressed over the years... hmm, then let me ask you: why are you in this scene at all?
Anyway, old compilations are a good thing. Check out old Pulse, Tantrance and Goa-Head compilations. Tantrance 4 should be absolutely your thing. As for me: However I may dislike the way some artists have progressed, I'm still thankful for the progressive side of things. Labels like Iboga Records are releasing music that's absolutely my thing. Old style psytrance had its day, now it's just time to move on. Go on, admit it, there can be only so much of one style. Back in the days old style psytrance was still really 'the shit' people started moaning and bitching that groups started to sound alike as well, so nothing has changed in that aspect...           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Acidhive iīm in this scene because i search artists who make the classic psytrance style. Can you tell me when starts to change the psychedelic style because i only listen to old trance and I donīt now when changed the style and why. I think the israelis had changed the psytrance but i canīt understand that other artists like electric universe or pleiadians change to. I know that many people think than I look at the reports of the Ten cd review on this side.

If you go to www.saikosounds.com, check out Trust In Trance records, they have a lot of old compilations. Also check out History of Goa trance (do a search) and Retrodelic Vibes. Avbatar Records and Inpsyde media have re-released a helluva lot of classic old albums. My tip would be for you to check out Koxbox - "Dragon Tales", X-Dream - "We Created Our Own Happiness" and Indoor - "Progressive Trance". All of these are absolute classics, especially the Indoor album, if you like SFX you'll love that.
