There´s a lot of truth in this "psytrancers typology", for sure, but I think that Elad is also right.
There´s no absolute truth at all, so everything has true aspects but never can explain it all.
Jealousy definitely is one strong mental power behind a lot of chat in the scene...

i feel left out that there was no description of the weirdos who stay in the chill area the whole time talking about their experiences with spirits from parallel realities while under the influence of the heaviest entheogens known to man (not using these substances at a party, of course...that'd just be silly). people who are just now realizing that they're 50,000 years old and a little too soul-weary for the incessant thump-thump-thumping |

Interesting reading,i didnt find it as funny as the majority did but i found some truths inside it but also ofcourse some lies or to say it better exaggerated things.
For example the importance that the writer gives to drugs is highly exaggerated,the outfits are highly based on stereotypes of our scene and something seems wrong in the music styles,i mean where exactly do Prometheus and Hallucinogen for example fit in Full On,Darkpsy and Progressive?I guess nowhere since they both produce psychedelic trance and probably all three of these styles dont belong to psychedelic trance more or less but this is another discussion.
All in all an interesting reading but just that.I liked the personality traits though,some really big truths there.

"Classic psytrance": not poptrance, it could be full on, but it has to have roots in goa.
