yo ppl,
I never been to boom nor samothraki festival and im defenetaly gonna be in one of them this year.
Because they both at the same dates i dont know which one to choose.
As far as i see in the sites they both looks cool.
if someone can please advise me where to go cause i dont know.(if he/she has been in one of them or both)
I like trance and psychadelic trance for many years (more than 12 yrs) and i dont know if samothraki is only trance based cause its name is dance festival.
I'm Probably gonna be in Xpo before cause im traveling around  hehe
so i need someone to tell me which one is better. on both the DJ's look great, some of them i realy like so this is why i'm confused  and of course where is better ppl?
P.S: i used to go to many parties when it was just started like underground ones (im 30+)

if u need it to be as cheap as it can so go to samotraki
cuzz its cheaper than portugal flight ...
but harry cuzz the flight are about to be closed!
about your age dont worry lots of old ppl were there...

boom 2000 Horrible logistics, bad sound, no water, too much dust. but excelent vibe and wonderfull people and quite good music (allthough not all the time)
I wasn't at samothraki (Last year it was called Solaluna) so I can't comment about that one.

Man just visit the sites of the festivals and decide for yourself.
Personally i havent been to Boom but i guess Samothraki has a better line up and from what i know the organisers are doing a preetty good job.
Anyway the choice is yours

its easy ,
look at the line-ups,
in samotraki there is UNBeLIVABLE lineup,
in the boom , i think he do not publish it.
in samotraki u got 1 stage 4 full0n and 1 stage for minimal .
damn! -> even tsuyoshi will be there ,
try to make a game -> who is not in their line ups. |

Like Dr.Borris said the Boom 2000 had some sirious probles but still through was an amazing festival, Samothraki last year was also amazing without having this problems Boom had. ok things can always go a bit wrong. The line up is a matter of taste, see and choose what u like. The place is uncomparable, Samothraki is defenitly one of the most beautiful places on Earth and his mystical energy fits perfect to a psychedelic festival!!!

if u able to make it - boom.
festival is more then big names line up. its history and its energie.
look at the location of boom, see the very interesting line up (not commerzial big names parade) and know - boom tribe is very nice and special.
