Maybe it's one of the local guys that owned a tavern. He said that if the "prwtvousianoi" can do it, so can I.
He did make the best bougiourdi I've ever tasted though, and I am a bougiourdi expert!
...So if his promoting/organising abilities are half as good as his cooking, it'll will a belter of a party!

I have attended both Sola Luna 2001 and SDF 2003, and really after the latter organisation I was happy to hear about SAMOTHRAKI WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL 2005
on 21-22-23-24 of July 2005, posted in the world music section of this forum (where it belongs), because I deeply feel that the island (and somewhat the cops  ) need some relaxation at last!
I never want to see or even better to hear about trancers, leaving a festival in the middle, with a law suit against them, empty pockets (confiscated money by police forces), begging for money, leaving behind empty tents, the hope to treasure memories of a successful and wonderfull line up and using swear words for greece and greek trance scene!
I am very cautious about this Samothraki Gathering (imho it's more like lets make a last minute snatch gathering!). It has been announced far too late for me to arrange my vacations at work and to my experience "professionally" organised festivals are well being arranged and announced months before!
I get even more restless due to the fact that this thread is tending to be a promoter hide and seek post!
Ok! There are many teams! Why don't you reveal the trance team and get it over and done with!?
If you are SERIOUS, what's the point of literally hiding behind your finger!
PS: Will there be any ppl not attending the party if you reveal your identity? Have you any connection to the guys that organised the VOAMA fest?

hallo friends,
i think there is a big misunderstanding going around, we, the ppl who are organizing Samothraki Gathering have no relation to the previous organizers, or voama fest. You can check out everybody involved in the organisation in a few days in our homepage. There are so many ppl and organiztions involved in this huge effort that it's pointless to make a whole page in a forum with them. A forum is just an advertising mean. All details concerning this event will be in the homepage, where they belong. Thank you for your good and bad comments, all opinions are equally respected. Stay tuned for more updates.
