i recieved an email from the people that made Sola Luna last year, they're making another one .
" Hello to everyone,
First of all , the Samothraki Festival Team and I , want to thanx everyone who helped us and were there, in our previous festival in the Greek island of Samothraki, summer 2001-august 31st.
This year we prepare something very special for all of us!!! This summers dates are 22-26 August (5-Days Festival).
We rename the festival from sola luna to SAMOTHRAKI DANCE FESTIVAL 2002 and we have added a 3rd music stage. This year the stages will be:
The Main Stage (psychedelic trance), Stage 2 (progressive trance), Stage 3 (ambient-freestyle-chill out music).
The official website is www.samothrakidancefestival.com and will be on line soon. For 2002 event we have already more than 35 live acts and 60djs(in 3 stages) confirmed. Stay tuned with the website for more info…
We welcome u once again ,this summer,to join the full moon, the love and light with us ……
Once more I would like to thanx everyone who helped in our dream to come true….

this festival last year was one of the best experiences I had in my life. .:)

wow....nice pics ...it was shore a big madhous out there...
last year we were soposed to get there on motorbikes but didnt...any one joining this year?..
it should be great, the roads over there are just amazing and the olimpos mont. is just near by....TOP OF THE FUCK"N WORLD !!

i enjoyed it so much..
beach, party zone and great chilout zone..
PERFECT!
AND MAY I ADD ME AND COOKIE MIGHT BE THERE THIS YEAR !

i heard so many incredible things about the last one, and it looks like they might open up things a bit with the line-up. the "best of..." line-ups are a bit tiresome, let's get some new blood in there! all of last year"s acts i've seen countless times. |
