Royksopp :: The Understanding

Royksopp came out with a new album and after spining it in repeat for the last week i would really like to recommend this wonderfull piece of creation , i feel that they have swicthed a bit their direction in music & as i see it , it is far diffrent from their previous release this one is much more vocal, but still a very high production & just a fun to listen to music...
almost all on this one are my favs

Nice album, but not a favourite, though "What else is there?" is bloody excellent!

the singer sounds exacly like bjork though it;s acctualy some freak woman from this band calles the knifes (or the forkes , i dont remeber)so this track is absoulotly amazing. the first single is also nice and circute breacker as well.
this album is alot different from the last one and altough i liked it i predict that there next album will be pure dance floor top 20 :\ (= not good)

Fantantastic album

and the girl you are talking about is Karin Dreijer from sweden..the is a part of the group with her brother called The Knife which is a kind of 80's style but they always have really good remixes also (mylo,Rex the dog,m.a.n.d.y an so on) so chek them out if you like the 80s kind electro

also good news danish funky electro Trentemøller has just remixed Röyksopp - What else is there

also Röyksopp - only this moment remixes
Tracklisting:
1 Only This Moment (Album Version) (3:55)
2 Only This Moment (Röyksopps Hissige) (6:15)
3 Only This Moment (Alan Braxe & Fred Falke Remix) (6:33)
4 Only This Moment (Chab Remix) (8:40)

Well Dragoon i also enjoyed this new album, its an excellent pop album comparing to all the rest what is out there. But after a huge success of Melody FM i expected them to make something more alternative, im following their work since nearly 10 years now, form their first project Those Norwegians.
And form the new album i jsut liked couple of tracks...

I like it

although I would prefer it a bit more 'chill' ... sometimes the snares and hihats mastering irritates me.

but the sleeve artwork and typography gives the album a very unique impression.

Yeah, I bought the album a couple a days ago. The thing is, though, that the playlist for me kinda stops after the two first tracks. After that it gets rather mediocre. I'll have to put in a little extra effort I guess. (Hi, new to the forum!)           Goa Goa-trance & Psytrance parties in Oslo, Norway:
