Kinda nice lineup & great location, I'm starting to consider the trip =)
All the best & good luck to all who rule this one..
Hope you will add some serious night music like Deviant Species/Jahbo/KDD/Jocid etc, and some beautiful acts for the chill..
P.S. Could some1 tell me what the prices like in Morocco, food/traveling/rooms? =) |

About the prices :
Basic rooms start around 4 to 6 € a night (but you have all kind of hotel and price all the way to 5 stars palaces).
Food : you get a good sandwich from 1.5/2 € and meals start between 4 and 6 € - Cigarettes between 1 and 3 € - Alcool is quite expensive (about 1 € for a beer in supermarket).
Travel (bus or train) is really cheap : look on Rhythms of Peace website for some links - Petrol is about 1 €/l
All in all, if you're careful but still want a bit of fun, you need between 15 and 25 € a day..... |

Thumbs up for this festival guys!
I'm really REALLY looking forward to this!
Original line-up
Original location
and above all, a heartwarming vision,
no, wait,
an earthwarming vision
cheers.

It took me 20 minutes to come up with this signature.

It's called Tafadna. Or sometime Tafeney Cape on roadmaps...
If you have a good map, look between Imsouane and Sidi Kaouki, 80/90 km south of Essaouira. |

You're right, not that much tree... but we gonna have wind from the sea so I don't think it will be too hot.
Just hot enought to enjoy the cool water of the atlantic ;-)
I don't know yet if it's possible to rent a room in Tafadna fishermen village cause it's really small. Maybe in the closest village inland (about 10 km) but I don't think there is an hotel...
Small hotels, you can find in Sidi Kaouki (about 10 km up the coast but 30 km by road) and all kind of hotels in Essaouira....
Also we gonna have traditional nomad bivouac for rent on the beach (not sure about the price yet / maybe 1O € per person/night ...).
And of course free camping for those who come with tent or van but it could be good to bring a tarp or something to make a bit of shade.... |
