Here is wat i Experienced >>>
Reached @ 10:30pm >>Party was not started & walked in with my Crew then met my Pals Dogon Baba & Pankaj:smoke: .... Frm them i got to know that there is sum Other private party was On @ the place which was Supposed to be Opened for Goa Gil GIG by 10:00pm Onwards  .... Then Clock started tickling till 11:30 there was no Music & by that time the Lawn was full of PsycoDelicaass  .... then Sum Healthy jaat(bouncers) came & asked all to leave that place & Entry will be started Lately ...... Went Out of that Lawn area spend sum time in the Backyard parking Area enjoyd a Track of 1200mics  LEsser baba  .... Then heard that the Entry is Onnn & this time we have to enter from that small Gate which was showing the Way out to Backyard Parking ..... It was a great Experience to get In  Payed 1000rs CASH ...Free Drink was never Offered ...... Spend sum more Time Approx 30min in the Lawn again then Sum body opened the Gate & said Assembling is going On so party will Start in 5min But it Took approx 20min ...Sum of the People were already inside i was watchin BABA Gil Assembling His COnSole  afterwards Got the Priveledge to hear the First BEAT of the Party & the Crowd who was already in Screamed :bounce: >>> Gates opened & freaks Rushed in  That was 00:30am According to My watch which is 10min FAst  Baba started Very Powerfully  Great feeling ... to hear BABA gil after a long Time  ...Eventually Music was Stopped Jus Coz of sum Technical Issues It take 5min to get Back to that Vibrating atmosphere  ..... Started Off Like an Never Ending Journey  ... Baba G was Changing gears     that place was Jam Packed lukin for a place to Dance  >> Seen Lots Of Barb Wire Gud Skin Show was there :love1:  Heheheheheh ..... @ 3:10am Party was Stopped Got to know its Bcoz of COPS   Baba Gil was not luking Haappyyy @ all So as I  I thought lets spend sum time  it might get started but nuthing happend That Jaat (bouncer) came & asked Us to leave ..... So This was GOA GIL @ MYNT LOUNG & BAR .... So i 
Simlpy a BAD show by ShivLink this was not Expected  luck for the Future Events .... My Suggestion is that Please find Sum other location  Instead of this kind Of place Which is Located On road is not a Gud Option 
So go for sumthin Else

Goa gil @ MYNT....started at 12 (was suppose to start at 10 thou acc. to the flyer by shivlink  )..end by 3 AM (the club guys asking all the crowd to leave ....  W.T.F) ....thts delhi club psy scene....u pay 1k to dance on gil baba's jungle tune and u get 2 hours of waiting and then 3 hours of music thta too with music fuck ups in between...and then acc. to shivlink there was a welcome drink ..ohh common whr was the welcome drink  ....the club simply refused to the offer of the welcome drink .......anyhow no probs with me....i enjoyed baba's world in those 3 mighty hours .....B@@M BH@LENATH

i think may be u mean to say In The Capital Metro City , DELHI .
coz by the grace of GOD and the aliens living in this side of the cosmos .... scene is pretty good in bombay ....
even though there has been quite an evolution in last couple of years but FOR THE SAKE OF THE SCENE bombay has maintained it Super Psychedelic Spirits ....
and full power to its FREAKS for that .... THE party people .... THE Alienated Psychotics..
Next Level Stuff Always ..Also it helps as as there aint too much of fighting and cribbing which usually is the case in other cities ..
Focus is always on the Music and automatically things shape out to be peacefullll n 
Bombay leads by an example always .. No wonder the name of da city gives out a good vibe straightaway: )

well.....its nt wat v all expecting bt shivlink ppl can't control cops......it ws apreciable efforts bt more planning require in case of selection of venue....well i think tht place is nt ready to hold such event nt goa gil fr sure....1k fr 2 hrs.....lit higher amount (bt again its nt orgs fault)....bt yes i dint get my welcome drink either...ws it beer or red bull????........mixed crowd bt nt shit crowd....i heard some one asking who is this goa gil...strange...hw they come to knw abt this gig nd wat they were duin ......heard some cheap coments on grls...neways thts part of ne gig so no problem wid tht....ya saw some madness at dance floor.....hey dogon it took me good time to recognise u....it ws great to meet u......goa gil ws awsome...bt whn journey startd ...things fuckd up.... .one more bad day......bt nthin against shivlink ....see u guys again wid a bang...

yah, was a bad day for psy.
juice: good to meet you after a long time.
yidam: nice to meet you again.
the place was jam packed so many freaks killing it on the floor with babaji spilling some mad mad energy balls. Those 2 hours made me crazy & took me to the inner spaces.
i think 2 things fcuked up the scene;
1) Private Party which went on till late than scheduled.
2) Looooooooong parking on the highway & irresponsible people boozing on the highway.
LSD: instead of boycotting the scene why not suggesting better ideas to make better scenes. But ya if you wish to sit back & chill; it's all good but please dont bother about the scene if you dont want to be a part of it.

the only thing gud in the party was music...
expected alot from shivlink rec. but didn't get may b coz the organization wasn't done well but anyways nice effort...
best of luck for the next party..hope its better than this one

Hello People,
First and foremost we would like to thank each and every person who showed us their support by turning up for the Goa Gil party at Mynt Lounge. Secondly, the Shivlink crew owes a sincere apology to Baba Gil & everyone who turned up for the show. This is the first party hosted by Shivlink which was shut early due to unexpected reasons.
The factors that contributed to the mess were:
1) 4 Kms Parking on NH8 Highway which instigated Cops
2) Unmanageable number of people
This time we were not able to pull off a gig until dawn due to bad luck in addition to the above factors. We think it is extremely tough to control such an unforeseen problem in any part of the world. Along with the club owners, we tried our best to handle the cops in the most efficient manner.
The lounge was packed with people enjoying the music. Some people were enjoying themselves in the garden area. It was at 3 a.m. that the situation escalated to a whole new level – The cops had received 37 complaint calls and had to take action. We had been dealing with the cops at regular intervals during the party. As a matter of fact, even the owners of Mynt lounge were on the road convincing them. Had we not stopped the party, the police force would have barged inside and empted the club in a forceful manner. In order to avoid the cops coming into the club, we decided to shut down the party ourselves.
A lot of effort went into the décor and promotion for this party. However, our organization was not up to our usual standards and we offer our sincere heartfelt apology for the same.
After assessing the whole situation, Shivlink and Mynt have decided to host a free after party – an effort to compensate you to the best of our ability. We present to you QUANTUM (Trancelucent – Israel) and KEREN PORAT at Mynt Lounge on 4th March (Friday Night). The entry fee has been waivered off because we regret the inconvenience caused to every one at the Goa Gil gig.
At Shivlink Records, our aim is to create a pure vibe and a happy atmosphere. Each gig is a learning experience for us; an experience to ensure that you have an even better time at our next party. We hope you understand that the Law imposes restrictions upon us. We need to work together to ensure that our scene keeps growing. A big Thank You for your support & understanding.
* Free entry is on the basis of a guest list. Kindly PM us your name and phone no. if you wish to attend. Those names that are not on the guest list will not be given free entry.

bummer it ended this way....cant really blame the orgs...the scene is royally screwed in Delhi...cops have presumptions about 'trance parties' but yeh very big on their part to provide free entry as compensation...keep up the good work boys! |
