yep it s good, specialy with the algos from the last few updates.

have to try it again and a/b .
With the older algos the lexicon pcm and x verb were in a other league to me but its different kind of algo, vroom was at first aimed as a real room reverb simulator if i remmeber while verbs like lexicon are made for music and enhance it i think , it dont have to sound like a real room reverb but to sound great in a musical context it s 2 different thing
i think it s what he aimed for with the last few algos.. but i could be wrong

you should definitely try it again. i bought a pcm 70 for about $800, and then sold it for the same amount a few years later after trying vroom. it's unbelievably good, and would be a bargain at five times the price, really...

sean costello is an amazing guy. i would say that this reverb is firmly in the camp of the early lexicon and eventide effects. it's not a "realistic" reverb, in the sense of 100% accurately representing the sound of a "real space" (for that you might as well use impulses and something like altiverb), but as far as "fitting in the mix" goes, and plain simply just sounding breathtakingly fucking amazing, then vroom has it.           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

this one is also great, maybe even better than the lexicon bundle at sounding like one of the classic lexicon verb (480 is studio classic and supposed to sound better than pcm series)it s made by the same guy who made xverb
