This is one of the best places I've ever been to... there are simply no words to describe it... all the djs came (except for simon)...
It was just a real kick ass party... we had the chance to see logic bomb (the best in my opinion), skazi (dj and live), absolum, gms, vatos locos... just something else

Great party!!! Beautiful place, with some waterfalls, nice chill-out, good variety of food, fair prices. Ppl from many countries, and from many parts of Brazil.
About the sound I really enjoyed Christoff. He didn´t make a live, but his dj set is KILLER! Great tracks, with perfect mixing!!! One of my favourites of the festival. Nakov also made a killer set, with his unique mixing style. I didn´t like Skazi at all. HIs dj set(I´m pretty sure it was not a live) was 3 hours of Skazi. I like Skazi, but it was too much for me. Bamboo Forest live surprised me, with some good tracks, but I thought they´re a little "cold"(they played the live and didn´t dance one single track...). Alien Project was good, but the live Ari made was kind of "fake". He mixed his tracks with cd´s, and put some nord noises(but it was like the volume was on 0 db), imo just "encenação". GMS, well I heard only GMS. Yes they´re good, and make killer-dancefloors-hits. But I can´t understand how they can play many times the same track(I heard like 5 times of Hide-Pose!!!). But during Zorba live I saw the dancefloor dancing like I never saw. It was raining(where never rains) and there were 2 raibows! It was great!!! About brazilians dj´s congratulations to Mack. One of the best set of the festival, didn´t play hits, very refresh tracks.
I missed Logic Bomb(dammit), Orion, Vatos Locos.... but it´s impossible see all acts.
One thing that dissapointed me: the soundsystem. It was really bad. Skazi´s kick and bass desrtyed the pa´s. Too bad!!!
And other bad thing was some thiefs that stolen some tents and cars.
Resume: great party, great artists. Too many GMS tracks, but for sure they rock the floor.

actually I got that same idea from the pics danger, but the info I received is that there were about 2000 ppl in the party.
and also that the dancefloor was packed full about 23 1/2 hours a day (they shut the music down for half an hour).

10x Danger. Well, imo the number of ppl was nice. No problem to eat, to go to the bathroom("buraco" hehehehe). Sometimes it´s difficult to take a shower, but nothing that took a long time.
And as Luiz said the dancefloor was full of ppl all the time. And it was great!
I didn´t hear Shanti´s set...

Shanti's set was really nice... but i have to disagree with thiago about the sound system... there were 22 eaw pa's on each side of the stage man...
and too bad you missed logic bomb and vatos locos man... really something else these guys... imo logic bomb was the big star of the festival... they kicked some serious ass in the dance floor.
one other thing... i can't believe you didn't like skazi man... he was great... made everybody go crazy in the dance floor...

what can we say about trancendence?!?!
i was expecting a perfect party and was even more perfetc!!!!
sound, artists, ppl, the place ... i don t have words to describe the experience..
logic bomb for me was the best ever!! absolum was great too.. and i finaly saw skazi!
great party!!

Well pedrinho I still think that the sound system could be better. Even next to the pa´s you could talk with someone next to u. And when I go to a party I want to hear the BASS pumping! And u can´t say that u hear perfectly Skazi´s bassline.
And about Skazi´s set I thought it was kind of boring. I´m a real Skazi fan(who knbows me knows it), but play almost 3 hours(dj set, not live) only Skazi´s tracks is too much. If it was a live... And other, he didn´t play the latest track!!! Nakov played a newer track on his set!!!
For sure missing Logic was terrible. But it was live or dj set?

Of course that there is never too much skeakers in the sound system, hehehe, but Trancendance system wasn't bad at all.
About Skazi, I thought it was nice and boring at the same time. The same kick and bass line for hours was too much .... I was expecting a little bit more of criativity. |
