RESTORE THE GREEK NATURE FESTIVAL (idea come, read, participate)

HELLO GREEKS
this summer as u all know greek nature is under attack.
especially the last 4 days the biggest percentage of the pelloponesian nature and wildlife is under continues fire with so far almost 60 dead people!
people must take action, nature preservation and reconstruction is something essential to all of as.
the idea is simple, fun and with a good and noble cause.
so here is my idea...
lets combine our will to party and love of music with the restoration of a small piece of burned greek earth.
after all music was always connected to nature one way or another.
after all we are in this planet living, destroying, polluting, manipulating it but all we do we must thank our planet and the evolutionary way of life for our existence!!
so lets make a festival next september with anyone that wants to participate by helping, playing hes music, helping the organization, or just participate for hes fun and love for the music and nature.
this is a group effort we all must take place and offer our small piece of love for this place we live on!
music and fun is just one part of the idea the big idea is before or after the festival take place in a previously pure forest to PLANT A FEW THOUSANDS NEW BABY TREES!!!!
there will be a ticket this is not gonna be a free festival this will be a festival that the usual expenses will go for the organization but a big percentage of the ticket fee will go to buy and plant new trees!
my idea is artist will come to play for free with just they travel expenses covered after all its for a noble cause.
my idea is to find as many as possible sponsors for this effort.
my idea is that greek government and greek ecological organizations will give as they full support.
my idea is for a small ticket fee something like 40-50 euros and a big amount to go for trees and rest for the overall expenses!
my aim is not to make money and even if we are lucky and do make some money out of this we will still buy more trees or do something that will help so we want see anymore big nature disasters like that in the future!
PLEASE greek party organizers, artist's, label managers unite and lets do something that our government will not do!
i know my ideas may sound utopic or even out of the greek reality and maybe all of u have better things to do than work on something that sounds romantic.
maybe i sound naive and all this is just another topic that will be buried in the forums history but i just had to ask this!
play ur part and help this come true.
u can help in ur way and with things u know u can be useful.
i hope u all feel what i feel and share my vision on this!
if not... than its ok i had to try!

I think these words will touch everyone who read them.
This instanse is very sad and it is an obligation of all of us to protect the nature.Coz nature is our life.
If goverment in a way dont give a sh** we must help coz this is the place we living at and the place where our future kids will live.
Ill try to help with this way or with the other.
Just a lil support from me.

ps:When the last tree will burn and when the last animal gonna disappear then youll see that you cant feed your self with your money! |

Keep your horses people.
Let this nightmare end first and then we can all share our ideas and opinions on how we can all help and what can we do about this situation.
At the moment half the country is burning and there are even reports for a terrorists or a foreign country attack so lets all wait to see what will happen and when the time comes we can all make a meeting somewhere and see what we can do and how we can help our country and its people.
Its not the right time to speak about any festival or party or donations or whatever when the country is still burning.

detox about the present situation unfortunately we cant do much the big damage is allready done.
but what we can do is looking in the future and what we can do about it to make it "better"
our government is adopting the same passive attitude against the fire and now we all can see the resoltes!
so lets be active.. i was fighting the fire in imitos that was 500 meters away from my house! and i can see at least allitle how disastrous it is !
i know also that planitng a few thousand trees isnt bring the forests back but at least its an action in the whole passive acting greek reality !
we hope from ur support and not ur negative critics detox!
greece is full of critics and specialists that wait the nightmare to end before they plan the future and than for the next few months they just talk about what to do until it all fades away and finally do nothing at all!
im on the idea of starting now that we all know when all this are done what we have infront of us... burned earth... and look what can we do for our planet!
and please dont makes this a debate mike u can see the nature of this effort lets not make it another rant topic...

My friend i dont know where you exactly saw any critics from my side or me trying to create a debate here or whatever.
I dont even know why you think that i am saying something different than you.
All i said is to wait for some more days till this inferno stops and for the people and the land to be safe after the last nightmare days and then we can all sit down or make a meeting or open a topic or whatever and share our ideas on the subject and see how we can help with this situation.
I dont feel that today or tomorrow is the right time to speak about anything when half the country is still burning,people and properties are in danger and we dont even have a clue what caused all this.
Action is needed and will be taken but just not now.

i agree
nobody said we must talk today or tommorow there is time!
i just put the idea on the table! we have plenty of time and after all we need all the "big greeks" to be present and show they interest about it and then we can all sit down and talk about what needs to be done!
for the time being we need participants and see the reactions of the people!
but most important we want this nightmare to end with no more casualty's cos its like war out there!
