just look at the cross link compilation, the way the two label styles blend is fantastic...the second cd is much better than the first, the best remix is definitly tegma - werewolf(beat bizarre remix)
the original is ok but the remix is mindblowing!!!
I wish there were more remixes going on in the scene, it's always great to hear an old track remixed...

One word Ableton sequensing software that allows you to remix songs on the fly(live) so everytime you play you have a different mix or version of the song.
Can you imagine each dj remixing each track to his own taste this is the future. |

Remixes are about an artist giving a new interpertation to another artist's art. It's like story telling, a new storyteller is telling a story he heard from someone else in his own words, with his own style and personality, with his own perspective and through his own mind and heart.
The fact that not all remixes are good is something else- not all tracks are good as well... (understatement)
