I totally agree wid u dear onacid, these so called God man who exploit, innocent people, wil definetely face hell, and they do, but its not their fault either.

There are few aspirants who go for spirituality to these saints, people go to GURUS FOR THE MATERIAL DESIRES N ITS FULFILMENT. And the fact is no Guru or God gives u anything in life.

Guru is name of knowledge, wisdom proper understanding, he can impart u wid true knowledge according to ur personality as everyone is different, and one has to practise on
these advice sincerely to advance, apart from this whatever one gets or will get is nothing but his destiny, faith n fruits of his actions.

No power from outside can give one anything its all myth, but its also important to surrender to one n only one ideal, be it a Guru, idol, father, mother, wife, etc, but the surrender should be complete n sincere.

Roger is also right, that whatever one sincerely seeks he finds. Dont blame anyone or circumstances for ur downfall, know ur weakness n try to eradicate it out of ur system.

The past is no more, and the future is not yet.

But the present moment is atomic, so it can only b 'felt', not talked 'bout, so get bak in touch with ur hearts.

Bom!

P.S. When one 'awakens', the seeker & the sought merge in2 each other, and in so happening, the guru 2 'disappears'.           "If Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in dark rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive electronic music."

hahaha ... faith in ourselves and none else maybe thats the solution ???           Being, a bundle of minute, unique particulars in which, by some unspeakable and yet self-evident paradox, was to be seen the divine source of all existence.

Meditation is transcendence into a sublime state of no-body, no-mind, no-intellect, no-form, where there is full-knowledge, full freedom, full-liberation. It is the divine path from the outer to inner, from the periphery to the center, from the abyss to the apex, from the hell to the heaven, from turmoil to total bliss, from anxiety to ecstasy, from gloom to glee, from misery to bliss, from ignorance to wisdom, from untruth to truth, from selfdom to self-emancipation, from ephemeral to the eternal, from mortal to the immortal.
The goal is to take you to enlightment and fulfillment, to take you continuously into your own Godhead, Pranjnyanam Brahma, the self - referral totality of your fully awakened individual supermost consciousness, the Absolute Reality steeped in the Supreme silence of the Pure Self, which is the fundamental source of infinite accomplishments, power and creativity, the highest potential for fulfillment of life's all conceivable and unconceivable possibilities.
Ultimately, you have to transcend the mind which repeats the "Mantra". So the "Mantra" is left behind, the mind is left behind before you move forward to reach the final goal of meditation. Meditation is not the goal. It is a means to achieve the goal.
Lose yourself totally, completely, fully so much so that you are absolutely lost while dancing and you reach a state of no-mind. You become the dance yourself. You are so engrossed. And that state of mind gives you a kick into "Samadhi", "Satori". Existence melts into you and you melt into Existence.
Meditation is to stay still, silent, single, surrounded, super-aware, statuesque, smiling, sincere, super -love-full. When you are within, wakeful, withdrawn, waiting, watching, witnessing, without goal, without aim, without purpose, with love, you are in meditation.
Meditation is turning inward from the outer to the inner, from periphery to the pivot, from circumference to the centre, from ephemeral to the eternal, from the creation to the Creator, from the unreal to the Real, from the seen to the seer.
Meditation is not sumiran, not repeating the holy name or a mantra, nor is it saying a verbal prayer, uttering or chanting hymns or thinking about God. Neither rivet nor refuse, neither accept nor reject, neither cling nor fling. Just stay relaxed and neutral and rest peacefully at the innermost centre of your own being.
Meditation is absence of all doing, absence of all occupation, absence of all thinking, absence of all exercise, absence of all techniques, absence of any act of concentration.
You are a unique phenomenon. Therefore, you can choose your own meditation. One meditation cannot be for everyone, it may not suit everyone. There are several techniques and you can pick and choose that which suits you most, which is best for you. And you can start walking on that path. It is very simple: all paths lead to the top, the top of the hill. You can go from anywhere. You can attempt a climb at the peak of the mountain from many sides. The peak is the same. But adopt any one path.
Samadhi is a bodyless state, a mindless state. At that stage you can be in communion with Him. And you can be in communion with the whole Existence.
Meditation will provide you a key to open that box, to open the locker of that Treasure, Unlimited and Limitless, an immeasurable Treasure and after you have reached it and opened it, you become the King of Kings; you become the Monarch of Monarchs. That is the function of meditation. YAD BAHYAM TAD ANTARAM (;n~ cka rnUrje~). Whatever you are seeking outside, the same is already within you.
But in order to get connected to your inner core and to reach out to the Divine, you will have to remove the barriers of all your negativities. When you are full of anger, avarice, greed, passion, lust, jealousy, hatred, violence, attachment, ego etc., you will fail to receive the support of Nature in your inward journey. You will not receive the benediction and blessings from Nature, so essential for spiritual growth. Any one negative thought will become a barrier. Even a positive, good or pure thought will also become a barrier. A state of total thoughtlessness is needed. A negative thought is an opaque, solid barrier, whereas a positive thought is a transparent, subtle barrier. Both are barriers.
When you sit in the present moment in utter silence, doing nothing, free from all thoughts and emotions, your inner spring of enormous energy, wisdom and bliss sprouts forth. You may not believe in any God. You may not follow any religion. Still you can meditate. Meditation (Dhyan&/;ku) takes you away from the outer shells of your body and mind into the epicenter of your inner core-being of utmost tranquility where dwells the Truth.

simran is repeating the names of god constantly. Mind in its thinking state remains restless and disturbed. Restlessness gives birth to more restlessness and mind keeps agitating ever in this viscous circle. This distraction of the mind is controlled by pulling mind out of the world around you and by engaging it in 'simran'.
Life is circular mystery in which we move from birth to birth and death to death. As earth keeps turning continuously from season to season, from spring and summer to autumn and winter, life too moves cyclic from birth - growth - decay and death and again back to the beginning. It is seemingly endless energy-flow, centrally and intrinsically integrated as one without division, changing only outer shapes and forms.
One cannot quote any relationship with the outside world in which you have perfect peace, happiness and harmony. It cannot be. That is the nature of all outer relationships. There is the relationship with 'Self'. Disconnect from outside and relate your own-self to the 'Self'. Once you get related to the 'Self', you get bliss and ecstatic. This self is permanent. This self is blissful. This self is ecstatic.
Uncontrolled human mind is a garbage store - a mad house of desires, egoism, anger, avarice, attachment, greed, jealousy, hatred and passion pulling you down into misery and suffering. Mind when controlled and harnessed, becomes an infinite reservoir of knowledge of all wisdom, of all creativity and cures, of all power and potentialities. Since, it is not in the nature of the mind to stay controlled.
Unless mental repetition of lords name or holy name (simran) bestowed upon the initiate by spirituality master eventually silence the mind.
Thought pollution is most dangerous evil and root cause of ills and ailments that afflict humanity. Thought is the gravest of all other pollutions. Air pollution, water pollution, food pollution , noise pollution ,earth pollution ,sky pollution manifest only at the physical level, where as thoughts pollution is the subtlest evil, spreading afflictions , deeper than other.
External practice like idol-worship, ceremonial rituals, fasting, devotional recitation, visiting pilgrimage centre and kriyaakaanda help only to further distract and deviates the mind, if you are not focused and if you do not do these acts with full awareness, internalizing the mind (which is the mental practice take place through simran) Dharma, Dhyaan, Bhajan and other mediation practices is not possible.
Mind can be tamed and disciplined easily by practice of Surat Shabda Yoga, which mean merging the sound of the cosmos mind and consciousness into celestial sound (Shabda) or primordial.
Association with the Master (Satguru) or living divinity or the living preceptor as also the communion internally with holy names or Single minded repetition of this Names are essentials for transcending the mind, for elevating the soul and for achieving peace.
When we sit in meditation our mind send lot of thought. It does not allow us to concentrate on the third eye. So we need to keep mind busy. We can repeat any name of gods or if initiated repeat 5 holy names given by guru. simran purify the mind. Once, the mind is pure. It catches the sound of creation. In this state of self-created sound (Anahat Naad, Shabd, Logos and spiritual sound), true nature of non thinking mind which is source of all bliss, all knowledge, all power and all creation is experienced by meditator.

Satguru:
Seeing the satguru (Master or Guru) is getting a glimpse of the Divine. Meeting with an enlightened Master is a meeting with God, an encounter with the Source of all-bliss, all-energy, all-light, and all-love. One innate look at him and you are purified, you are transformed, you are re-born, and you are blessed.
satguru is the stainless mirror, empty and void, sans color, sans frame. You see your oneself in him. In him, you see your own image. You are reflected back as you truly are in your innermost being. You stand utterly naked before him, without covers and curtains, without masks and masquerades, without deceit and deception, without humbug and hypocrisy, without bluff and bluster, without show of pretences and pretexts. Just a look into him and you become him and he becomes you. All duality disappears.
Meeting with the master is your first encounter with you oneself, with your innate divinity, with Existence. In him, you have the first-ever glimpse of your own Godhood. You meet Existence. You become the Existence.
Master is the gate ajar for you to pass through to Him, through the door to the limitless space beyond, through the finite to the infinite, through space and time to the Ultimate Beyond. It is a journey from the bonded to the unbonded, from the ephemeral to Eternity, from mortality to immortality.
The spiritual Master or the satguru emanates directly from the Supreme Reservoir of limitless bliss and utmost void to manifest in this world of mortals, as and when required, and to lead the ignorant and the fallen to the Abode of pure bliss-consciousness.
Someone is needed, someone who has seen God, who has met Him, who resides in Him and in whom He resides every moment. Someone is needed to point out the way, the path that leads to Him. Call that someone by any name you like, your friend, and your brother, your teacher, you Guru, Your satguru, your Master or any other name. He will tell you which way to look and how to look for Him.
The Master does only that. He acts as a pointer, as an indicator. He shows you the path. He makes you walk on the path and takes you to the destination. He is not the destination, but he knows the way and the destination and can take you safely there, provided you surrender to him.
Offer all your desires, dreams, hopes, thoughts, actions at the altar of the Lord, at the holy feet of your Isht (b"V), your satguru (Master) or anyone in whom you have full faith, or whom you love most. And become liberated, free.
All effort of the Master is to make you turn inwards so that you may push open your inner door and start living in a blissful state of super-consciousness where all existence will look vibrating with life divine, where stones, trees, plants, insects, animals, humans, suns, stars, planets and every bit of the Universe are one indivisible, integrated whole and exist as one continuous living entity.
The enlightened Master is speaking the unspoken, the unspeakable. He only indicates the direction in which you have to move to reach the Ultimate. He points his finger towards the goal. He shows, displays, depicts, delineates and describes the path from the periphery to the centre, from the boundary to the boundless, from the outer to the inner. He can lead you to that Ultimate experience.

Master is silent in his evocation. His words are a noise, a distraction. He can make you experience God, but his words will not bring you that experience. He would tell you tales, but fail to narrate to you the essence of his own experience. You keep listening to his long discourses, but remember, he is beating about the bush. Your deep understanding of his beatings, at the same time, is essential to get at the bush. So dont stop listening to his words. His words, his indications and pointers are important guidelines for you to get at the Ultimate goal. Listen to him super-consciously, wakefully and imbibe the essence of his words. Understand and perceive the true import of his words and their true meaning, the meaning behind the meaning. Churn them over and over again. Distil wisdom out of them. Chew this wisdom. Digest it. Think of it. Live upon it. Breathe it in and out. Make it your daily existence.
satguru is a true guru, a guru rooted in Truth. He is not a mere teacher or an Acharya. He is the guiding star who imparts true knowledge, wisdom and skills and trains you in the art of living happily and successfully in this temporal world as also promotes your spiritual growth to raise you to an enlightened Life of all-round perfection and ultimate fulfillment and to lead you finally to attain total peace, total bliss and total liberation (Moksha).
Being with the master is being with his Truth, his simplicity, his innocence, his purity, his bliss, his freedom. satguru is a beautiful corridor to be passed through patiently, dancing, singing, celebrating with a merry heart flowing out in love and an inner being bent in surrender. At the end of the corridor is a door through which you can peep into the ultimate paradise of your life or through which you can further pass into the Existence, into the Divine, into the Supreme, into God and, thus, into total liberation.

One the basis of my personal experiences and observations, I am expressing my views on the golden maxim "Only the Truth Wins" for the benefit of the common man. I do not claim that whatever I say is final. I have followed the path of Truth in order to reach a destination, a destination without any end.

The most important thing that is required in Practical Life is how to attain contentment, peace and bliss while living. . I do not quote scriptures. I explain my personal experiences of physical, mental and spiritual realms in simple language. What is that truth by which we can attain happiness, prosperity, solace, courage and peaceful living? Man is constituted of three things: body, mind, and soul. Body represents gross nature, mind subtle nature, and soul the causal nature. Human mind is most restive and it never remains calm. It constantly originates multifarious thoughts causing joy and sorrow. The entire creation both "Maya" (mental creation) and "Chaya" (physical creation) is in fact the creation of the human mind. Until one does go beyond the mental regions, one cannot attain freedom from the duality of good or bad, sin or virtue, joy or sorrow, happiness or grief. Now the question is, how to attain mental tranquility? In my view the company of a realized man who has himself won over his mind is indispensable. His company and his words can works wonder for you provided you have faith in him. From his company you can to a great extent free yourself from wrong notions, bad thoughts and destructive impressions. As your practical life is a by-product of your mental creations, the purity of thought and mind is the first and foremost necessity for a happy and blissful living. I may make it very clear here, that until a man realizes the truth and attains true knowledge, he may enjoy temporary Anand [Supreme Bliss] from Sat Sang. But such a man is likely to face a miserable downfall due to his destructive thinking and uncontrolled mind. So the second truth is the purity of thought and mind to attain the Supreme State of Bliss.
If Sat Sang (company of the realized man) gives only temporal Anand and not the Supreme Anand, and if there is a likelihood of one's downfall at any stage, what is the solution to attain mental purity, true knowledge and the supreme Bliss? I think its solution is inward practice (Sadhana). One should practice Sadhana and attain that state where thoughts or cravings originate. That state is known as the place of Bindoo (Zero) of Om, a state of thoughtlessness, "Mahasunna" or the Tenth Door. Even at this stage, mind generates evil or good thoughts. But here man can subdue his mind, if he so desires. So at the mental state, the application of the maxim "only truth wins" is the complete surrender of mind to the Guru and to follow his dictates with strong determination.
The word of the Guru merges the mind of a true aspirant into the ocean of thoughtlessness. It is correct that all religious books such as The Bhagvat Gita, The Ramayna, The Adi Granth, The Bible and The Quran have laid down principles to attain this state for mankind. But they are not applicable to all every individual. Every individual has his own nature according to his previous deeds, his present circumstances and external influences on his mind. So keeping in view this Truth, only a living Guru is the Supreme arbiter who knows what particular path would be useful and beneficial to a particular individual for making his life happy and blissful.
Only the Guru knows what a particular thought a particular man should entertain in his mind after having the experience of thoughtlessness (Nirvikalapa). By attaining this stage, the aspirant's mind becomes tranquil. And if he practices Sadhana without any aim, he is likely to fall and commit blunders due to external influences of his surroundings. Sadhana is not an end in itself. It is a mean to attain ultimate peace, solace, Bliss and the knowledge of the "Self." Those who do not undertake Sadhana with an aim of self-realization face a miserable downfall sooner or later. He who meditates on the center of "Om" must make further efforts to attain this state of thoughtlessness. In worldly life, too, if parents are wise, they must be obeyed for gaining happiness in this world. And for undertaking Sadhana of mental regions obedience to the Guru is most essential.
It is not advisable for every individual to follow the same path. To make the mind, its stages and its creations favorable, the greatest essential Truth is the Sat Sang of a realized man, love for him, faith in him and above all, obedience to his words. His guidance for attaining the state of thoughtlessness must be followed with determination, devotion and with regular Sadhana (Practice).
Entertain noble, virtuous and positive thoughts as initiated by the Guru. I had a keen desire to know the truth

PEACE TO ALL

i agree what you say and i do not want to say you are wrong cause i am still searching mate!!! ..... i know faith is the boat that makes you cross the river of life......but that boat is broken these days and many do not make it to the banks....i have yet to meet sumone who gives me the supreme vibe...the one who knows god..or has met god or who is like god.......but i get inspirations from everyone.....simple daily rated workers....it's like everyone is working about and going about without knowing the cause.....is it only for filling the stomach..is it the laziness and weak minds of human mind.... anyway i am not against religion or faith but the carriers of the faith...the ones who tell u hey do this or that.....even a doctor these days the divine profession of saving lives gives services according to your wallet size and so does the sat gurus and you join esha foundation or many such nautankis who charge atleast 25 k for short courses etc etc..... thts that and spirituality is really selling these days..... my faith is limitless and has no boundaries.....it is love ...supreme happiness is mass happiness..it is neither socialist ...nor communist...it has no need for a figure of god.......a stone and everything in the earth is related ...we are all one ...... yes humans have a quality which is unique.....and spirituality and religion is a requirement for the kingdoms and governments to establish the art of bowing down , to create divides and to create a sense of controlling people from killing people...if say one country is so powerful and there was no faith that country would kill everyone else for their own country to prosper..then some state would kill other states and likewise one day the human race would finish due to wars ..anyway so the old wise men formed the religion...the concept of god...... and we idiots live by it!!!!!!!
again many faiths were created so that they fight among religion and not the concept of religion ( samje bhai logo)
anyway sumtimes i just laugh and look up at all this mess and look up in the sky and say hey prabhu tu dikha tera jaadoo....
          life is a trip ..... love is a trip.....a trip isn't a trip anymore.......how trippy....
