Maybe the reason is the unreleased tracks that are being played by the DJs?

Oh so that's why I'm so bored at parties these days too bad the usual criterion for track selection have 'evolved' from good vs bad to released vs unreleased...
[/gripe]
I like to hear stuff I know but I don't pay too much attention to it when I'm dancing... I try to avoid the reflex wherein I recognize the track and have to puzzle out what it is - nowadays I rather just dance if I like it - and, in some small fashion, I recapture the wonderment I experienced years ago as an ignorant and bewildered soul new to Goa trance... if I found new music to be as good as the old I suppose it wouldn't matter at all, however... to bad I don't find that to be the case usually.
Then again, I still haven't heard a solid set of the uplifting swedish proggy styles, a new passion for me... seems like everyone these days has to play 'hard' - either tech-styles or the decomplexified full on of modern times... being 'soft' isn't cool I suppose everythingz gotta be killa'...

the real challenge (and it was quit a challenge for me some time ago) is to identify the track and(!!) to remember its source after the party .. there were parties when a recognized plenty of good tracks and then , coming home and trying to analize what i've heard just hours ago i found myself with such a mess in my head that there was no way of analizing a thing ... it lasted for some time untill i just stopped with the indefication things , just concentrated on tracks as a part of a whole set ... and i do prefer listening to unrealesed , at such situation if u suddenly recognize some track u really feel how it communicates with other music ... for the drugs - they never help to concentrate and to remember smth is sort of concentrating so if u really need the tracklist of the party - think sober ..
