got a freaking headache after watching this one.. but would still reccomend it.. because its closer to the 'blare witch project' type of movie
The whole movie is done on a handy cam/video recorder camera that was employed in a farewell party for this guy called rob.. while in the party this huge monster attacks Manhattan and starts destroying new york.. while the guy who first started taping tapes this whole incident through...
though i liked the whole idea and the movie is so very well executed with some nice visuals.. i just dint like the movie.. there was too much confusion at times, there will be too many people talking... ofc all of this has been done to keep it as realistic as possible.. but the damn camera view gave me a headache!

IMO:
Cloverfield was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. What a fucking waste of time.
That's something for closed mind people such as Pavel and Detox.
Disgusting. Honestly.

I just saw this, and loved the movie.. thankful to have seen it! the movie has a really nice mix of characters, a great plot, is fast paced and some great acting.. more like a comedy of errors.. i would give this 7.5/10 - a must watch nonetheless!

I saw 'District 9' a few days ago and to me it was a complete waste of time. Bringing up the southafrican apartheid is a nice touch, but very poor depth in this one.
