The Boat That Rocked
"The Boat That Rocked" is an ensemble comedy in which the romance takes place between the young people of the '60s and pop music. It's about a band of rogue DJs that captivated Britain, playing the music that defined a generation and standing up to a government that, incomprehensibly, preferred jazz. The Count, a big, brash, American god of the airwaves; Quentin, the boss of Radio Rock -- a pirate radio station in the middle of the North Sea that's populated by an eclectic crew of rock and roll DJs; Gavin, the greatest DJ in Britain who has just returned from his drug tour of America to reclaim his rightful position; Dave, an ironic, intelligent and cruelly funny co-broadcaster; and a fearsome British government official out for blood against the drug takers and lawbreakers of a once-great nation."*
Hollywood massla flick.. you wouldnt mind watching it once though...that is if you dont have much else to do because the story kinda gets unpredictable at times..

I really enjoyed this movie.
Btw, just watched "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3".
Very ordinary, typical American picture.
Explosions, gun fires, some laughs and political jokes... how could I forget: A bad plot.
Tony Scott disappointed me with this one.
He can do better than that, cmon.

what a drag of a movie.. somewhere towards the end i started asking myself what the fuck is the movie about.. its like one of those movies that gets you interested like something strange or unexpected is about to happen but it never does.. id give it 4/10

yes, liked it.. though through the first half of the movie i thought that poeple were actually conspiring against reznik, it was quite obvious later that he was suffering from sleeplessness, and hence the hallucinations.. but it was worth watching it. and christian bale's done such a great job.. like always!

ex cop Kiefer sutherland takes up a job in a burned down abandoned mall as a night security guard and is trying to get his life back in order after an accident with his previous job.. sutherland encounters several strange incidents involving the mirrors in the building, and begins to find that his own reflection can kill him, and his family..
Though the movie gets scary and thrilling at different stages, it is quite predictable towards the second half.. and kind of the cliched horror flick!
