Hi folks

mailing to let everyone know we've released another album under the alter ego of ' elve ' on Virtual .The music is quite elve like i guess and a bit greener and more laid back than Magik square of the sun and inspired by plants and the language they speak and the keys they offer us to our imagination and the infinite garden
please checkout the mp3 demo at

www.v-i-r-t-u-a-l-w-o-r-l-d.com

available online at Virtualworld or www.ishq.org

best wishes and happy 2006

yep, infinite garden is a very nice piece of electronic ambient music, there is a delicate and sensual fragility in it. the sound is fresh and experimental without being too heady, perfect for the upcoming springtime!           ::Memento:Audere:Semper::

Let me know how this one plays out. I liked the first track on Magik Square of the Sun - but the rest was a little too experimental and full of sounds for my usual casual listening. I'm also not so keen on the upbeat track first, and then chiller material. For example, SkyBlue is a stunningly good song - but it doesn't fit the flow of Orchid for some people. Too much too fast, they say.

Hoping for the Ishq deeeeppp chilling masterpeice..... a new level of alpha ambience and subtechtonic sound circuits...

is it actually a limited edition?
it said so for the first release and then appeared in all the webshops
i wouldnt mind so much if my stupidity prevented me from ordering from virtualworld by paypal when i had no money in my account and thus occasioning an overdraft fee           Load Universe into Cannon. Aim at Brain. Fire.

have ordered my copy through Dakini Records, will get it next week... loved the first one, some nice glitchy elements pushing the boundaries of ambient... this one sounds alittle more laid back... cannot wait! Ishq is just toooo good to miss out any releases assoicated...

Hi folks

all virtual releases are 500 copies and we do distribute them
in small quantities via other mail order sites even though its a limited edition.

. Virtuals second release ' infinite garden ' is available from the following sites.

www.ishq.org
www.v-i-r-t-u-a-l-w-o-r-l-d.com
http://www.ambientmusic.co.uk
www.backroadsmusic.com

we can reserve copies with no need to pay for a time so theres never any rush.

'Magik square of the sun' is now sold out here and in relation to 'Infinite garden' its
much slower and ebbs and flows more slowly. Its a chilled album with very few peaks and no beats so If your after music like the track 'nomad' then keep an eye out for the next Ishvara album which is nothing but swirling beats and sequential stuff and full on from start to end with bits of nothing in between tracks.

Thanks for the feedback on the various styles of music and flow etc and preferences , its cool to get feedback and always very interesting but always we find confusing :'> but enlightening .Album playlists are always good for some and not for others. We had more than a few people say they wanted a whole album like sky blue but also alot of people who said they wanted the opposite , we had people say cd 2 on Dakini should have been cd 1 and we had people say Fluid earth should have been track 1 on cd 1 and Sky blue on cd 2 ! but we had alot of people who said little except - i like it !preference is variable but we fully get into your ideas and feel for the albums . Compiling of cds and albums for Virtual we do but we interface with labels on label releases and labels often like to start an album with some momentum .

Interesting lesson in the nature of perception which is even more fascinating when i mention that 'Sky blue' is actually about the way we think the sky is blue but this is an illusion according to others and not ' actually ' blue and about how things appear to be but arnt but maybe are ? and accepting things as they are
Are you confused ? we are ! In zen speak i guess the above reads

> the bird 'is' when it 'is not'.

\\expect an album as Ishq of nothing but deeper 'Later on' Orchid style tracks though
as we prefer these ourselves.

Sky blue is actually on the end of the album also going backwards juts to confuse matters further.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback , its makes for an interesting subject and expect more confusing music soon

best wishes

Dear Ishq,

We love it. I get it. SkyBlue and Nomad are outstanding to say the least.

I have tried to turn some people on to Ishq, like massage therapists, accupuncturists, yoga people, and sensitive old ladies.... and told them... forget the new age fluff you are ordering from Amazon - let's listen to this!

...and THEY say they don't like the 'techno' parts.

NOT that you should be producing fluffy new age tracks for mainstream audiences, or watering anything down - but I do like the tranquil ambient side of the Ishq sound a lot. So many people are producing pumping downtempo beats, Ishq is one of the the ones who stands out for having top-notch beatless psychedelic ambient albums, and tracks on compilations.

The new CD sounds like it might be what I'm looking for.
