01 Intro
02 Zorba - Barkbase
03 Logic Bomb - the Third Revelation (Alternative Vision Remix)
04 Dynamic - DJ on Pills
05 1200 Mics - LSD (Atomic Pulse Remix)
06 Sesto Sento - Sneaky Sneaky
07 Astrix - Eye to Eye
08 Shockwave - Dynamic Us Storm
09 Alien Project - Maya
10 Younger Brother - the Finger (GMS Remix)
11 1200 Mics - Mescaline
12 Hallucinogen - Gamma Goblins (GMS Remix)
13 Shpongle - Crystal Skulls (Dance Mix)

Well, this was one of those releases that I expected to be much better but Instead I see a Compil full of tracks most people already have for a long time now. This Compil should have been released 1 year ago

I also don't like the fact that some tracks were cut to hell. You get a Mescaline track with only 57 seconds for example. This can't be called a V.A, this is just a set from start to finish.

I'll have to give this V.A a 4/10. If I were listening to this traks for the first time I would give it a 7/10.

Peace.

I get it, if music isn't new than it's not worth buying?           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

Well, in this case I wouldn't recomend it to Djs, I recomend it for the Public in general since this is a pure set and not a V.A. in my opinion.
...but that's just me.

If it is mixed, shouldn't it be a set?

what's to be disappointed from that?           the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist....

Ashura, why are you surprised? this is how the first stash bag was too. I havent heard it, though i've pretty much heard all of the tracks on it, before as well. The Raja Ram Stash Bags are sets, mixed well by Raja, i dont see what the problem is Ashura?

you know if people wouldn't download music most of these tracks would be new and unreleased.. unless you happen to buy all the 12" and so..           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

Luis Paulo »» There are various ways to mix but cutting the tracks in half or beatmixing full-on is not my idea of a V.A but instead my idea of a set.

Berserx »» I don't have Raja Ram stash bag vol.1 so I wouldn't know.

Traveller »» Like I said, for me this is not a V.A so what's the point of having unreleased tracks inside if they are already mixed(the way I said above) for you or not complete?

People these are just my thoughts,You can review the Release the way you like. Should I lie and say I loved this?!

Asuhra, if you listened to the first one you wouldn't like it either because the "magic" or fun of it was indeed the mix and the way Raja uses the tracks. I was actually disappointed with Stash 2 because there are less tracks and the mix isn't quite as good and fun as the previous one. The Dynamic tracks are cool though.

Ashura man, you are thinking too much as a dj.
Of course for me it would be better to have those tracks unmixed, so i can mix them myself.
But remember most people don't know and couldn't care how to mix, they just want to listen to music, and it's much better as a listener to open up the cd player, insert it and let it play continously for an hour...
I think the cd was released with the intention at least to be a set, not to sell as a V.A.

CrunchCandy » I have no doubt about it, actually Raja is awsome live and I love his sets but I just don't like this concept of V.A. I mean, many people can do awsome sets but I don't see anyone grabbing one of those sets and selling it as a CD just to show mixing skills.

Chi » Like I said, this is just my review, anyone else can do a review of his own.

Peace.

well, i still haven't heard the second but i guess it's much like the first, and if that's the case, i think it's awesome! the idea is indeed to hear the amazing mixes by raja, in the first one at least, he didn't cut the new tracks (like the acid test) only the older ones, so you didn't "lose" much. and since i'm not a dj i can tell you it was great because he left from each track the main essences and when i heard it i felt like it was a neverending cd, like i was actually hearing 16 differant tracks i thought it was brilliant. still haven't heard this one but i will soon, and i hope it has the same feel (though "only" 13 tracks).           Super-teen extraordinaire Freakazoid! This album is a nice full-on madness set. As Asuhra suggests, it's not for the DJ but for the dancer. Maybe a good mix to take to the gym or something like that. And although this is "Raja's" stash, the fine print on the back reveals that is was actually mixed by Benji Vaughan, not Raja at all. Go figure!

I quite like the Logic Bomb remix and the Shpongle dance remix.
