Melbourne born and bred, Raja Ram left Australia in the 50s to begin the hippie trail. He returned to study flute at the Melbourne conservatory, and then went to New York in 1965 to study jazz and improvisation. In the late 60s in London's Notting Hill Gate he formed Quintessence, a jazz-fusion Indian rock band that went on great success with 5 albums and over 400 live performances.
However in the early 70s due to personal reasons, retired to become an envelope salesman. In the early 80s with the advent of synthesizers Raja Ram was inspired to return to performing. A trip to Goa in 88 coupled with the acid house summer of love in England revealed to him a new genre; the electronic world of psychedelic music. He worked for many years with Graham wood under the name The Infinity Project, producing seminal tracks such as "Stimuli". In 1994 Raja Ram had the brainwave to create TIP records, now known as TIP world.
He began DJ 'ing in '98 as this seemed a natural addition and progression to performing live. He is known for his groundbreaking work as "Shpongle" with Simon Posford, as the creator of 1200 micrograms with Ricktam and Banzi of GMS, and Chicago, and has had many collaborations with psy-trance artists globally. Constantly touring, DJ 'ing, performing live and recording in the studio, he is one of the most in demand artists on the scene. Now entering his 64th year he feels like he's just getting started.
Deviant Species is Santos De Castro. DS started in 1997 with former member Paul Wright (N.R.S.). The first EP release ’Blind Summit’ attracted much attention and secured Deviant Species a place in the South Africa 2000 Millennium festival where it billed along the main names in the Psy Trance scene at the time.
After 4 succesful EP releases the internationally acclaimed first album ’Hatch’ came out.
One year later Deviant Species founded Ambivalent Records with the release of its second album ’The Quest for Balojax’ (2001) which established the act as one of the luminaires of the genre.
In 2004 the much anticipated 3rd album ’In The Hands of the Randomiser’ came out which received rave reviews all over the world.
More Deviant Species tracks featured in the Ambivalent Rec compilation AMBCD7 Further Ambivalent Tendencies released in 2006. Santos is currently working in a new solo album and in the debut album of his project with Ady Connor (Scorb) called Squid Inc.
Santos was born in the Basque Country. Initially a drummer, he took permament residence in London in the 90’s where he joined industrial band Pig playing as the opening band for Nine Inch Nails in their Downward the Spiral tour.
It all began in the mid eighties as a hip-hop, electro and funk DJ with a fascination for psychedelic and electronic music (and dancing in warehouses all night)!
In the early nineties, I moved on to the techno scene playing at clubs and events including Club UK, The End, Heaven, Fabric and Tribal Gathering. Since then I've been lucky enough to travel across the globe playing many styles of dance music, most commonly psytrance and techno/electro sets (In 2007 I have toured in Japan, Russia, Brazil, Australia, Isreal, Serbia, Portugal and Greece).
After guesting at a TIP party in 1998, the TIP crew asked me to represent their label and in early 2001 I became label manager of Flying Rhino Records.
I have worked with friends and artists such as Aphid Moon, Laughing Buddha, Raja Ram, Hallucinogen, Prometheus, Eat Static, Tristan and Dickster. My most recent projects have involved working with Raja Ram, Aphid Moon, Prometheus, Laughing Buddha, Pogo and Sybarite. I also have a solo project in the pipeline (watch this space!).

Iraklis Mindphaser was born in Athens in 1975.He started djing in 1991 playing breakbeat and techno from vinyl records in small Athens parties.In 1992 he played at his first big party,Special Grooves of DJs(800 people open air party).In 1994 he created his first party team,called Rave Crew,with whom he organised a number of parties.By the end of 1996,after finishing a sound engineering school,he started working for Floorfiller Productions in the production department.Apart from the valuable knowledge he gained,he also had the opportunity to play with famous dj�s like Paul Oakenfold,Sasha,Nick Warren,Alex Neri(Planetfunk),Dave Ralph etc.During the years 1997-8 he played in the biggest Athenian clubs (+Soda, Camel, Playroom) and was resident DJ of the Cream and Renaissance parties(popular London based parties)that took place in Greece for the first time(Corfu, Crete, Athens, Salonica).In 1999 he started Mindphaser Music Trips,from which he got his nickname. Since 2000 he has been resident dj and the main organiser of 140+ Natural High events,which have been an opportunity for both famous like Talamasca,Orion,Joti,Electric Universe,Wizzy Noise,Neuromotor,Koxbox,M.W.N.N. + more.... and less known artists to play psytrance for the vivid audiences of Natural High.Natural High has also collaborated with Octava Recs,Void Network, Loopsnoo Recs,Exposure Productions A.K.Iraklis Mindphaser has played in many festivals such as Sola Luna Festival 2002,E-FOS 2001, Electro Free Festivals 2,3,4,5, Kaiafas Int. Festival 2004,Samothraki 2005,Legalize Fest 06+07+08,Butterfly Festival 2006+2007 as well as in Cyprus for Psychoactive Sounds.In 2005 a free trance fanzine called dancephotocopy was published and it is the trance voice of Greece and Cyprus in print.Iraklis has a key role in dancephotocopy�s editing and publishing. His musical style is full on trance/Progressive/Breakbeat and technically he mixes beat to beat.

excelent move...i dont remember if i hear again the god of the night dos santos and deviant species again in athens...just perfect music...santos is a big pionner of psytrance...
i cant wait...!!!lucas one of the best europe trance sets in the world...good luck mindphaser good luck twiling zone with this...
