Many peopl tell em they think it is no good, not even as a coffee coaster... but I really like this album, it's very experimental, quirky and weird and over all psychedellic... the quality fo sound is pretty shite, and a remastered version would be the beez kneez, but al in all, I never get the negative attitude towards it... what do others think?           --- Love In Light, Dance In Darkness ---

I've always liked it... Ping is a classic and a few of the others were good to spin out several years ago--especially as mood-setting introductions. Now it's more of a home listening thing when you're in the mood for something very weird... but you're right--it hasn't been all that well-liked over the years. I just think it is a bit too experimental for some people but I totally tap into what they were trying to accomplish.

It's too weird, even now. Ping is the best track there, no doubt           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Really? I love it... it's always been one of th emost psychedellic albums for me... always connected and never found it to weird... but taste in the old school sound is so individual, for example I find a lot of Dragonfly stuff quite boring, as well as Indoor and Koxbox... no matter where I"ve heard it, straight or off my nut, thos albums never clicked...           --- Love In Light, Dance In Darkness ---

It's an amazing album, and I still listen to it occasionally.

Someone borrowed my original copy and disappeared with it, but fortunately with the help of Dr. Borris I got my hand on a new sealed copy sold for $1 on Ebay!           ---------------------------------------------

ping is indeed a master piece,
but the entire album is a bit weird,
specially considering the time age it's released...
would it be released now people would like it a lot more I think.          http://www.last.fm/user/LastFmKoen

Maybe someone can clear up an old rumour... is there another version of Ping out there? I heard Mark Allen's Inventive Steps (a mix released on USTA) and it seemed different somehow... can't quite recall the details though. Anyone?

one of the best albums from 97' , also with one of the best covers ! nothing else at that time was quite as weird i agree, but thats what was so great about the album! music to put on and trip from begining to end laughing most of the way . very much a story album not really made for dancefloor rocking, and hard to mix most of the time.
the other version of Ping is on the A side of the "dance with the devil" EP im pretty sure, its a great version only slightly different than the album one .
cheers for the memories           www.geomagnetic.tv/artists/random.html
