one of the best parts about this music is the premium people place on hearing good shit they've never heard before.
think about it: most people go to a rock concert to see their favorite band play their favorite song so they can sing along and then go home and tell their friends they heard their favorite band play their favorite song.
on the other hand, at a trance party the best moments are when some sick sound is coming out of the speaker and your friend turns to you and says "what the fuck is this !?!?!?!" and you say "i dunno, but its fucking good!!" and then you put this nasty look on your face like you've been bad and you're shaking it out, and then you go stomp around for a while.
and then maybe you go look at this cool looking bug hanging out on that tree over there...
