question about canada

hey. I think of moving to canada at the end of this year and I would like to know which city hosts most of the psychedelic gatherings, has more ambient/chillout places. I have a chance to go to vancouver/toronto/montreal thx for the help.

montreal has a pretty good scene, my mates live there and have been to some pretty rocking festivals and parties.. good luck |

The scene in Toronto is getting bigger and better every day. We (eloko) just brought Dj Stella Nutella, Droidlock was here in Feb. D-Tek will be here in April.

Yup!
Heard some good things about Canada...
Might be moving there aswell by the end of the year - I really can't wait to party with the Canadian freaks!

well i dont know anything about toronto's scene but here in montreal u can find one big name every month in an event, we'll have Nomad in may, rinkadink in june, astrix... in the summer, and if u like to practise french  montreal is the place

I`m an all Canadian girl who lived in Montreal for the last 6 years(I`m living in Japan now) and its a truly vibrant city with a great nightlife. There`s lots happening in the psytrance scene these days(inc. monthly Amazon gatherings), and this summer Deedrah, Ticon and Astrix will be joining the annual Eclipse party! Montrealers are generally friendly, relaxed and openminded. And yes, you can practise your French although many people speak English etc too. I`ve unfortunately never been to Vancouver although I`ve heard its beautiful and Toronto is a nice place, although it seems more conservative and is definitely more expensive than Montreal. Maybe I`m biased tho  If you like chillout/ambient, there are some intimate chill gatherings from time to time or check out an Interchill event. Good luck the move and maybe I`ll see you at Eclipse this summer! Jayme |
