Quality Of Sound (via Ipod)

I've jus bought an Ipod n then i tried connecting it to my car stereo via the 'AUX' port given in my pioneer
after listenin to the same to the same mp3 in cd format & via Ipod I was surprised to conclude that the cd gives much better sound then wot was comming via the Ipod
Am i Right or i'm missing some tweaks & tricks??

How did you connect the iPod? Through the phones output (in the top) or the line out (in the bottom)?

You need to buy a special ipod connector from ipod line out at bottom to line in in the other side

seriousely , all my freinds with Ipod have the same shit sound, i have play with peoples conecting theird ipod to mixing desk, and also same bad sound everytime,
i dont know, maybe trough the usb connection you can have a special audio interface,
but
the headphone out = bad sound ....
any kind of cd-walkman i try in my life, they never sound shit like the ipod.

i think i found the solution!!
ipod ready head units which have USB port so u jack the ipod from the bottom port & get cd quality sound.
hope i dont waste 200$ on this

You must know that the headphone out option is to connect headphones. If you want to plug it to mixer you have to connect it through the Line Out output which is in the bottom of the iPod. They do have different output levels... Bear that in mind.
