UPDATE: we are now waiting for word on camp placement Should be any day now (as of July 1st)
As a large-scale sound installation (f*** yeah), our camp will be placed in the outer edge of 10:00 (which we requested) or 2:00 of BRC, as these are the designated areas for the crazy amounts of SOUND we intend to produce on the playa.

Join us at the Psychedelic Freakshow camp and dance floor in Black Rock City. We will feature an international DJ lineup including some of the best producers and DJs in the world.
In addition to the main dance floor we will have a chill lounge, family-friendly camp, communal kitchen and dining area.
We have room for about 8 RVs, 10 cars, and 20 tents.
In order to achieve our goal we need the whole community to pitch in!
The financial contribution from each participant will be determined by the number of people who sign up. The more people in the camp, the smaller the contribution each participant will be asked to make, so please spread the word! |

So... It's been an interesting week. First time ever BM sold out of tickets... Lots of people left out in the cold 
BUT THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
PSYCHEDELIC FREAKSHOW CAMP @ Burning Man
August 29th - Sept. 5th 2011

Size: 100 x 350 ft (huge! tons of room for everyone)

What we will provide:
Trance friendly environment
Stage and dance floor w/ shade
Killer sound system 
Nightly dance party featuring some of the biggest acts in the world

WHY SHOULD YOU SIGN UP / DONATE TO THE PSYCHEDELIC FREAKSHOW CAMP?
We had a serious discussion about what PsyTribe can organize given the shortage of BM tickets and what people indicated they can donate when they signed up.
Here is the bottom line: we need to raise a minimum of $3500 to make the sound stage happen.
That's what we need to cover the basics: sound system, stage, shade, generator, truck and gas.
We figure, if we get 35 people to donate a minimum of $100, we can make this happen. If we raise more than $3500 we will have more deco, amenities like communal showers and possibly one basic meal daily for camp members.
Therefore, the minimum donation requested to camp with us is $100 per person.

Needless to say, no one should shell out exorbitant amounts for tickets on eBay. It's completely absurd and goes against the idea of BM.
You might get lucky on craigslist, but try ePlaya first of all: http://eplaya.burningman.com/viewforum.php?f=190 It is all Burners on there and people will sell their tickets for the amount they bought them for.
You have to check the forum often and jump on tickets as soon as they become available. People are managing to get tickets there!
