Hey
thought i'd say introduce myself to you as i;m new to the australian forum.
How did you guys get discover psychedelic trance?
I was downloading a U2 song & accidently downloaded Space tribe and it started from there .....& have not turned back since

for me hmmmmmmmmm........ started years bak wen i heard this artist called 'leftism' well did'nt stop der...... it just got deeper and deeper and den the logic bombs and shiva space technologies and the astral projections and etc etc etc......... took me completely...........

'bout 5 years or so ago.. good friend, make that gREAT friend invites me to go camping.. "it's this dj's birthday and he will be playing music outside, a beautiful space.." i go. we drive. seven hours later we stop driving - the site, gorgeous - the SOUND!!! changed my life  it was goa gil's birthday.. slap me happy!! i had heard some psytrance, enjoyed & craved more.. but this gathering.. the emotions.. strong. now. peace. love. |

it makes such a difference to discover trance in the outdoors... changes the entire way you see/hear/feel the music... and the party experience...
...and for that - GOA is the motherland.... 
i listened to a lot of trance in thailand and india in the late 90s... but it wasn't til i was dragged to a proper maharashtran balagan that i 'DiSCOVeRed trance' ....!
.. so big BOOM to beautiful Karjat for that...!!

I had been to a few parties in Goa early 2000 but I was introduced to trance at earthcore 2004. I will never forget that night in country victoria with simon posford raja ram ,the music ,the lights ,the vibes it was unreal still get a rush thinking about it 2005 was good too(siaqua lab4) and have tickets for this year as well(skazi & eitan fatali will be there) see u there!!!

Totally agree! Outdoor parties are the best way to experience psy-trance.
I will never forget a small parti in Newcastle. the sun was rising and it was so special. When i think / talk about it i can't help but smile |
