In addition to Infinite Connections, Molecular (formerly known as Environmental Structures) - www.molecular.cc - does events with a wide variety of styles of psytrance; they're your best bet for dark psy in Seattle. There is a multigenre party (including psy)in a tunnel (an annual tradition) on October 13 (see their upcoming events link for more info).
Portland, OR is only 3 hours south and is North America's premiere place for dark psy. Too much so for some people's tastes, but there's always something going on down here. Best place to find out about events is nw604.tribe.net as many events don't get much publicity in other forums...
Vancouver, BC is only a few hours north of Seattle, and there are regular events there as well...
Fall and winter are a little slower compared to summer - there are outdoor events in the northwest several times a month in the summer. |

In addition to the Seattle-area party on October 13, there is a Halloween party in Portland, OR on October 26 with Facehead : apollos-lute.com and a three-room party in Seattle on November 10 with Sensient (live -Australia) headlining at the Pacific Science Center (with most of the events open throughout the event - well worth admission!!!!) I'll say it again: many events in the northwest are either spontaneous and not annouced that far ahead of time, or are thrown by hippie promoters who do not announce the events outside the local area  There are usually several psy events in the northwest each month. The best place to check for events is not international forums like this; the best place to be in the loop is nw604.tribe.net There is basically one psy community spreading from Eugene, OR to Seattle, WA and in between. Plus events in northern CA and Vancouver, BC. If you live in Seattle, there will not be a shortage of events; you just need to keep your eyes open! Check the Tribe site and I guarantee you will get your psy fix!!! You may need to travel a couple hours, but there are always events going on here! |

and by the way, although many of the headliners of the Infinite Connections parties are progressive psy, you will get many styles of psy at each of their events. Their last event featured Hallucinogen, Koxbox, and a Shpongle dj set, among others...
There are some other weeklies and house parties going on all the time as well... |
