so iv been thinking for a while and spoke to a few people as well .. about psytrance`s greatest hit .. and heres a few names we came up with ..

The Delta - As A Child ...
Hallucinogen - lsd
Astral Projection - People Can Fly
The musus Rapt - and the sensitives ..
Juno Reactor - Conga Fury
and little later..
Deedrah - reload

no doubt theres many more but these were the most popular in my tiny survey ..so lets hear yours and try reach a conclusion .. which is trances biggest hit ever .. & by hit i mean it was played and raped over and over again at festivals , parties , cars , home stereos all over the world .. so popular that even a few non trancers knew of ?
..and which brings me to the second part .. is that era gone ? it seems to me it is .. there are just waaay too many artists/releases now a days for a song to last in peoples memories for long .. no ?

your thoughts ?

When I see topics like this I'm pleased to be a bit new to psytrance, and not recognise anything I hear in parties; doesn't it get to be a pain when you recognise all the tracks being played? I hear it just as a continuation, where each set is a complete trip, and always fresh and new..... doesn't knowing all the music turn it more into a classical style concert, where you wait to hear your favourite track?

Infected Mushroom- Psycho
GMS- Spliffpolitics
GMS- Juice

well psytrance as a style has undergone several change...now there are two camps in psy trance
the dark camp and the full on camp..and each camp is constantly trying to say they are better...because of this more artists are coming...not all of them are good but it only makes each camp more killer than the other...sorry KILLAARRRGH...the funny thing is there are so many killaarrrgh tracks that now i have to decide how many A's and G's to represent them           When death comes to your doorstep, make sure you are alive

Another one of those classic topics huh?
Well I've got lots of tracks in mind that I consider to be classics. Let me pick a few:
(in no particular order)

1. Marmion - Schoneberg (Man With No Name Remix)
2. Strange Bodies - Creeps
3. Blue Planet Corporation - Crystal
4. Astral Projection - Tryptomine Dream
5. Transwave - Land Of Freedom
6. Hallucinogen - LSD
7. The Infinity Project - The World Of The Acid Dealer
8. Pigs In Space - Visitors Part 1
9. Cosmosis - Howling At The Moon
10. Pleiadians - Alcyone

I could go on and on but these ten tracks really scream classic to me           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

I have no Idea why I dont see these 2 tracks side by side of AP´s - People can Fly

1. Hallucinogen - Spiritual Healing
2. Infected Mushroom - Psycho
3. POWER OF CELTIC
4. Panic In Paradise

Thank you.
Applause.

P.S - If you are looking for the track played the most - It has to be either GMS - Juice or the Hallucinogen Album...

Theres no doubt about that... End of topic. Lock it.
