Hi, ive just started getting into psytrance and was lookin for some advice on what songs/artists to listen to.
I've found a few songs that i think are good and if you could provide more songs of the same type/sounds that would great,  .
Electro Sun - I've Got The Power
Electro Sun - Pure Blue
Fatali - Faith
Intergalactic - Armstrong
Intergalactic - The Future
ps Prefer the uplifting and energetic stuff.

Yeah, and if you're new, check out some of the Yellow Sunshine Explosion compilations, like Goa Soundsystem (Vol. 1 - 6) and Neo Full-On 1 & 2. After you listen those and find out what artists you like, you might wanna look for full albums of those artists, or more compilations with similar tracks. The YSE compilations are a good way to get to know the scene a little better and they provide great value for money, them almost always being 2 Cd's filled to the brim with psytrance.

hey .. seems u like morning melodies .. check out some artistes like silicon sound, triptych, sesto sento, vibe tribe, alternative control.. some of my favourite artists ..producing some of the best groovy fluffy psy around.. cheers |

Me being a big fan of uplifting and energetic psy I will second Protoculture, mainly for their uplifting side.
For uplifting I recommend Silicon Sound, Freelander, Human Blue, some Andromeda, Fatali, Ion, Ibojima.
Optokoppler's new album "Bugfix" is better than replugged IMO. Overall I think their sense of energy and vibe is better than their sense of feel good melodies.
For energetic trance I would recommend DNA, but that's more like rip roaring full power relentless steam locomotive trance that just doesn't stop in intensity. Pardon the pun, heh.
Also of interest is Antix, while I really didn't get into their earlier stuff, their last album Twin Coast Discovery I thought was phenomanal. |

I would say Mindelight for sure..I second Protoculture but stick with the pre 2006 stuff. Silcon Sound, System Nipel, Human Blue, Optokoppler, etc. are all good. |
