Hey there,
Welcome to South Florida. Unfortunately psy trance events are very few. Maybe a few shows a year. Upcomming psy trance (and psy releated shows are below). Shpongle will be playing at Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale tickets are only $18 if you go to the box office. And upcomming is a event with DJ Yahel (I know he's not really considered psy anymore) celebrating Israel's independence day on May 5th.

I just got back from Miami... gonna try to coordinate a lil event something something during next years WMC or Ultra 
Till then, there's a party called Infektion coming up on August 13th (not much info has been released about it yet) in Hollywood at Club X-it. It's multi genre and multi room but the main room is gonna be all PSY baybeh  Koji and I are spinning and I'm bringin some deco!
Fornote though, the crowd that usually goes to events at X-it is very young and very super duper raver-y. Would love to see some psy-veterans there, for balance and stuff :]

nice, sounds cool. would love to see some psy trance even if it has to be at club x-it. would be happy to help out if needed, be it promotions or if you need dj's. been down here 9 years and honestly i can count the amount of psy trance shows on two hands, last one I attended was astral projection. i think infected cheeseshroom are playing in july in pompano as well. |

Far as the venue goes, yes it has quite a reputation as an 'all ages' haven for teenagers to go wild inside of a club. However I think with the right planning and promotion you will see another sector of the SFL scene and more mature people will come out to the event. Only thing is if you want the whole club to be able to serve alcohol you can't have it all ages or the 'bar' will only be open in the downstairs side room. Do you have any idea if this event will be 'all ages' '18+' or '21+'? Im fairly sure you can do 18+ and have alcohol sales throughout the club. Tho the owner usually likes to have it all ages so he can make something off the cover entry which is split due to lac of alcohol sales. |

Dammit, I always find out about these things after they're over. I've been in south FL for a year and I'm desperate to hear psytrance somewhere other than my car! Dark and dancey SA stuff is right up my alley too. Please, get in touch with me for the next one (especially if you need a DJ!). |

Hi guys,
thanx for the info. Live in the Ft. Lauderdale - Hollywood area and would love to attend the few parties organized here. Missed May 5th, may be there on June 11th, will definitely be there on August 13th if you keep me posted. Are the events on FB?
Surprised to see that there's nothing in Miami. Big electro scene there but no psy?? What's wrong in this country??

It's not this country... it's Florida. Our state sucks. There certainly seems to be some interest in psy here... we just need to organize and get the word out and I'm sure we can get SOMETHING together. I'm willing to work to make it happen! Even if it's just local DJs at a small event, it looks like people will come. |

Baaaah, sorry to resurrect ye-olde thread, I just thought if anyone in the Florida area might be interested, there will be a bit of psy at this outdoor festival (UltraViolet 2) this weekend. I know it's not a lot of psy but would love to meet and greet! I'm going south again in January for a while, lets master plan... >.>;
