I most admit i liked trance much more in the 90's, when goa trance ruled the scene with albums like "distance to goa", the white dragonfly album, oforia and astral projection
is there still new music made in the style of the good old days or even close? cuz i didnt find any...           Life is too short to eliminate all risks.

The Misted Muppet has a little of that feel, not the sound, but the feel from the old days. Check it out           LABEL-DJ @ 3D VISION RECORDINGS | www.myspace.com/djraider | www.myspace.com/3dvisionrecordings

There are a couple of tracks by the following of that style:

1 is by LSD (Lucy in space with daimonds).
Hydrophonic,
Cosmosis,
(I only liked few tracks from these albums but the good ones are good indeed)especially the one by Hydrophonic (sorry i forgot the name)The 1 by Hydro is the perfect example of how Goa of 2005 should be

& I have also just ordered the last album by Cosmic Tone which seems to be very close to old school trance (I hope it's good).

Apart from these I would also mention Brain XL.You can't actually call them Goa but I'm sure they'll give you a close feeling to GOA.

Man I miss Goa so much!

I think times have changed and music is defenitelly different, but in many ways the same. I think there are individual tracks out there that are an improvement over those times. I mean tracks like Shakta Lepton tea!! That old purple Cosmosis vynil from Transient, Tribute from Etnica, or that Party droid from Etnica WOW... I mean they were masterpieces. I love every beat of them. But now things are awesome. There are tracks that are illuminating, beautiful, powerful and true masterpieces. So I embrace this change, in the moment music is not mind blowing and feet propelling - Houston we have a problem.

Try Filteria's album Sky Input. I can't say that I like the whole album but some tracks I think are very good. Especially Starstuff. This track has this uplifting, powerful sound to it I miss a lot in modern trance. It has this great energy about it reminding of old Astral and Etnica tracks. Looking forward to hear more of old school style goa music this year especially at the parties. Big thanks to Filteria!

Update:
So the track by Hydrophonuc is called - EN FLOW. Wow what a track!
I just received the latest album by Cosmic tone - Wake up.
It is not what I expected but I would play 3 tracks of it.
The production is very good and there are some nice sounds and melodies and the groove is good too but some tracks are too fluffy and I really don't like the vocals they use!
But over all it's quite good

What about the new Juan album? Can't be more oldschool than that..           "The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn't have a space program."

'you' wasnt even close to the spiritual healing album tho.
imo, it tried to be oldschool but ended up sounding immature and poppy. few exceptions ofcourse. the The Fly Of The Phoenix being one.
