On Aug 16th, we are proud to present an amazing show featuring Psysex from Israel.
Lineup:
Psysex (LIVE - Hommega, Israel)
Goblin (DJ - Hommega, Israel)
Penta (LIVE - Spectral Concepts, SF)
Dillin Quent (DJ - Theory in Motion, SEA)
Psyki (DJ - Obscura, SEA)
Time: 10PM - 6:04 AM
Location: Indoors at a 'fun' place. Directions will be announced on the info line on the day of the show.
Cost: $20, $15 for people going to Burning Man (and can show their ticket).
This is a fundraiser for the As One collective, who had upwards of $10,000 stolen from them at their event in late July.

Nick, I listened to past mixes you've posted on this forum and i can only hope that you will be giving a set at this event as well.
In any case it's good to see Psysex so busy here in the US, perhaps you could persuade them to come to NY sometime.

As for having them play in NY, im sure they would love to, but they would be away from home for almost 2 weeks as it is. Also, who would make the party? Omnitribe has that big show next week as well as Liran. I dont know of the other promoters in that area, or I would forward this request along to them and Eyal Yankovitch (psysex manager).

only about 100 people showed up (which is less than half of what i needed to break even), however ALL of the performances were spectacular. the dj's set the stage well, while penta and psysex really killed it.
i was extremely impressed with the psysex live show, especially Yoni's work on the drums. As for Goblin's DJ set, NEVER have I seen such a perfect performance. despite the lack of attendance, he still tore it up.
good show, just wish that there would have been more people to witness it. |

oh yeah, the "fun" place was a skating rink about 10 minutes away from seattle.
along with the killer music, people were rolling around on pskates and having a blast! |

I feel yer pain. That's the reality of throwing parties the week before Burning Man, though. Everybody's cramming right about now.. (See the Space Tribe party review, too)
I tried to throw a party on the same weekend a couple of years ago - just a small trance party at a mountain location. I think maybe 5 people showed up. (Usually we easily get 100-150 people just by word of mouth) It was a good lesson, tho. Do it the first week of August or wait 'till a couple of weeks after BMan.
