wow.. i dont know what s going on, but it seems that lebanon has been the subject to many thread around here.. dont know if i should proud or sad.
anyway, once and for all..
Lebanon:
has a big commercial trancy scene, with djs like tiesto, PVD coming alomost every year and gigs happening all year long. we also get many proggressive house DJs like Sasha and Digweed.
as for psy, last year we had 6 parties and they were all very successful, so far we only had local but very talented Djs playing, this year, it will be different and we are planning to have bigger events (Israelis can not enter Lebanon, therefore you will never hear about Alien P or Astrix playing anytime soon). religion is not a barrier in Lebanon.. it s a free country.. hehe, maybe a bit too much
Morocco:
I believe that some of the best festivals are held in Morocco, desert festivals, artists playing live sets, and an international crowd.
UAE:
the scene is growing, thanks to the indians, psy freakos
Jordan, Syria, Iran.. nothing, but you can never tell, i mean if you consider this scene to be an undeground one, than we are not exposed to the parties

Nb: Some house/trance parties are actually being organised in Jordan, as well as Distant Heat @ Wadi El Rum in an amazing outdoor spot (last year Armin Van Buuren was spining there).. But psy is not existant...
(NB: should you be interested, check the portal page of our forum to have an idea about what's happening in Lebanon:

You guys (and gals) should influence your Jordanian friends to have a psy scene! And we could all gather there and have a party, cause Jordan does have a peace treaty with Israel and we can travel there.

People should be free to travel wherever they want to. No borders and chains!
But you are all welcome to come to Scandinavia and party with us As long as you leave the killarghhhh music at the doorstep |

I'm very delighted to hear partylike events take place, or have taken place in Jordan, Algir, Lebanon and Palestinian territories. I had difficulties believing this would never happen, but then, on the otherhand I'm actually surprised, it does happen!
And Rik nice workings those Lebanese guys do!
Maybe any other countries where you woudn't expect the existing of a scene like thing? Such as Tasmania, New Sealand, Siberia, China, South Korea, Chili....
Just to expand my horizon
tnx!

| Goannes, New Zealand has a very nice happeninig scene mate , Antix ,Pitch black, Freq , Dj Pied piper Paul, COSM, a few NZ names you might be fimilar with.
Both the north and the south island have many party crews and promoters, nice vibes butiful land extremely suited to artistic creation and some of the best underground events ive ever been to outside of india
