So helow!
I was wondering myself,
if there is a psyscene existing in the neighbouring countries of Israėl, worth mentioning?
Because I never here of any parties taking place in countries such as: Syria, Palestina , Jordan, Libanon and maybe even Iraq. (Never seen a flyer "Infected live in Palestina" or "Astral live in Libanon" )
With such a BIG scene in Israel it's hard for me to believe i has not spread for even a little bit to some surrounding countries.

Can you enlighten me?
Feel free to move this thread if its not in its place or if its too politically teinted.

thank you and see ya!

Nice to know something is happening in Lebanon an Kuwait. With the progressive youthmouvement in Iran I suppose it could be possible that parties are taking place there or going to. Morocco and Egypt also had some parties in the past, and these countries sound very religious to me too.

Lebanon certainly has a psytrance scene, I just registered the first projection team from this country in our art gallery! (Visuals Suspects - check www.psygarden.be to see what they do)

Please people, stay on topic, the original question is not about politics at all, your personal views on the inhabitants of a country don't really matter here, get over it. I'm not to sure about countries like egypt, but surely there are people there that listen to psytrance.

"Land of wonders" is a festival in egypt for example, but their website seems to have gone offline.
this is also announced for Egypt:

Friday 2nd July 2004
  Future Underground
  Birthday Bash
DJs: Ylan (fu), R.Rage (fu), Anti (TeknoTribe), Rob O'k (fu, Citadela, Loop Festival [Czech Republic]), Arik (Trippel Eye)
9pm - 10am @ 430 Commissioner Str, Kengsington, Fairview, Jhb
R 60 (r 40 for members)
Info:fu@techno.co.za

Could you mods, please close this topic or remove the very political posts, this is clearly against guidelines.

Hi Goaness,
There's probably not much going on, and apart from Lebanon, no parties for sure.
There used to be few events in the Palestinian territories, I have a friend who DJed in some- it was a mix of house music and trance- but I don't believe there is something going on now with the current situation.

Through my years in Isratrance I had many ppl contact me with questions and looking for music.

Among them some even making trance, and from the countries of Jordan, Egypt, Algir and Lebanon.

I even had a guy from Iran contact me, though he disappeared once he realized I'm an Israeli.           ---------------------------------------------

I'm very delighted to hear partylike events take place, or have taken place in Jordan, Algir, Lebanon and Palestinian territories. I had difficulties believing this would never happen, but then, on the otherhand I'm actually surprised, it does happen!
And Rik nice workings those Lebanese guys do!

Maybe any other countries where you woudn't expect the existing of a scene like thing? Such as Tasmania, New Sealand, Siberia, China, South Korea, Chili....
Just to expand my horizon
tnx!
