This is not good.
I hope he decide to keep his reviews online.
I volunteer for hosting it in one of my servers (maybe even here at IsraTrance, though this have to be discussed internally).
Respect!

A rumour I heard says that Damon closed the site shortly after hearing PsyNina's Sexy Secrets. He tried to cut his veins but he was saved in a last moment by his roomie.

I'd say his decision making was spot on ... must b a brainwreck right now knowing he survived.

We seriously need to keep the reviews online...
As for his decision, he's done so much good that we can only respect his choice and wish him the best!

maybe psytrance isn't dead yet
I was told that Dagan (from the misted muppet) cook something crazy for 2008 with his new partner.
I saw his new partner playing the keyboard in youtube.
I have never seen something like this before, not just in the psytrance, in the whole music industry! |

Damion put alot of his reviews here: http://www.psystream.net/forum/psyreviews-net-rss-f16.html
Hope that helps for those wanting to see them still
I fully understand his decision to stop reviewing. Being almost 40yrs old his (and my) views on what is good, bad or ugly change, and it's time to let younger reviewers who have a passion for current music to take over
Thanks for all the years of dedication |

^edit: woops
didn't realise he's screwed up psystream also - thought they would still be there
haha, what a drama queen - come on Damion
Also... I need another T-Shirt with 'GOA TWAT' on it as mine is pretty worn out
*sigh* |

That sucks... Remember those classic reviews like the Dali album, "The Next Generation - Hypersonic" compilation or others? Those are what kept listening to craptrance simply so that I can share his pain and be a better person for it
Seriously though, can't he just switch the name to crapreviews and continue as he did before.. I need my monthly rolling-on-the-floor-tear-jerking laugh |

Saw this thread as somone was checking out this place on my mac - yup..totally agree with Damion - Psy Trance as is used to be is dead..the kids around now seem to like whats being released but its the only genre of music not represented on my iPod..silly, stuck up its own ass elitest rubbish thats way behind other music in terms of production and artistry - despite the 'scene' thinking its at the forefront of electronic music. When I pulled my head out of my rectum and checked out whats really out there I realised the mistake I had made being so blinkered over the past few years. Guess I'm just too old for it too - let the younger kids take over..but believe me..it aint what it used to be....hmm..heard that before hey!!! lol - sound like my old man.
Over and out - see ya psy twance
