The Psynews.org track contest is over, all I know is that the Sienis track - RubbaBong won. Congrats to all the winners and a big "better luck next time" to the non-winners.

yeah I just saw this comp for sale at a store called distortion in Haight Ashbury in Frisco. Congrats to the winners- especially Agalactia from our forum!

Hey, i'm on the Contest Jury, so let me clear things up:
The contest taking place now, is the psynews 2nd contest. There will be 17 winners. 8 tracks have allready won:
Masada - Bhongo Bhonged
Amygdala - Proprioception Malfunction
Sienis - Rubbabong
Alien Noise - 604 Maniacs
Sneila - Flying Objects Always Reach The Ground
Vax - Tataria
Ethereal Phaze - Liquid Blue Vision
Prosect - Invasion
there are still 9 tracks left to be chosen as winners, so you have to wait for the final results.
Apocalypse> the psynews comp' which you saw, is the comp' of last years contest (it's called "Psychedelic Sparks")
anyway, look out for my Track: Ectopile - Stereo Nasty. it's a potential winner, although i can't vote for it ('cause i'm on the jury)

I own a copy of Psychedelic Sparks and i have to admit that i didnt like it at all.
Too many styles mixed together and every track sounds so different from the others.
Offcourse i have to give my congratulations to psynews.org for the great effort the did because the idea is the competition is wonderfull.
Maximum repsects to the guys there and lets hope that one day isratrance will do the same
