"Ott" is a contraction of his real name - in the same way that Jon is a contraction of Jonathan. He likes his privacy so he keeps his full name out of view for reasons I fully understand, having had them explained by him at length on more than one occasion!
He's probably pissing himself laughing at this thread right now... he's just a normal bloke with a very quick wit and food stains on his t-shirt (albeit a normal bloke whose best mate is Simon Posford), and I think the thought of people wondering about who he is and where he comes from must either amuse him greatly or scare him shitless.

Hey, sorry Jon, I wasn't trying to be harsh.  Just a little perturbed.
I see your point about the Jack Russell Terriers, and actually thought aboutt that too, before, but I know there are more than one person named Jack Russell in the world. 
I understand Ott wanting his privacy. It's not that big of a deal that I don't know. I'm just someone who wants to know more about an artist than just their music.... what makes em tick. Maybe in Otts case, I'm better off not knowing.... it may take me down some disturbing road that deals with his childhood insecurities and such.
Eitherway, if he wants a good laugh due to reading this... I "think" I've seen a picture of him once.... and he looks like
Vincent D'Onofrio's stunt double. )

Sorry to upset you man.. But i got the original OTT cd's. And there it written in capital letters.. "OTT" not "ott".

Funny, when he writes his name he does it like this: "Ott", not like this, "OTT". He must be getting it wrong. I'll tell him next time I see him, he'll be very grateful to you for noticing his mistake!
And yes, he does write beautiful music... very talented man (even if his personal hygiene could stand some improvement).

oh and hey OOOD, man, any way we can get a version of your promo cd that doesnt have that scary voice saying "do not copy" in the middle of every track? it was funny the first few times...
