At a conservative estimate, I have over 600 pieces of psy-trance vinyl (LP's and EP's) and about the same number of CD's. Can't be sure of exact numbers, as I have never counted it all. One of the rarest pieces I have is 'Juggling Alchemist' on vinyl, and many many more   My 60's/70's psy collection is about 300 vinyl and about 100 CD  Then there's all the other stuff.........

600 releases by that count, and there's quite a few I haven't added yet... it's mostly vinyl but I am going back and picking up old school CDs now to fill some major gaps. Collecting is great fun

how many cds u've got? (ofcurse im only refering original cds/vinyl!!!)
psy and ambient.. maybe 100
what is ur most rare and/or oldest cd/vinyl?
promotional copies of prometheus - robot.o.chan, shpongle remixed, ott - blumenkraft and shpongle - dorset perception
whiich cd u dont got and dieing to get?
since when u collecting?

 i yesterday i got few old and rare cds i was really wanted: the sound of goa trance 2 & 3 (SDR/BNE)
Blue compilation (TIP)
GOA-tel aviv (NMC)
UX - Ultimate experience (Dragonfly)
First flight (flying Rhino)
and some others... less old but still good!

Nope. I am a DJ and I am starting to produce music. I just love the music

I trully don't look back unless a track i lost is infront of my nose to be bought. I might want the Blue Room Etnica tribute/astral way on vynil... just because my copy is gone and I would like to play that track again and again he he. I have been buying music since 1989

I think you can really call me a psy collector because sometimes I spend too much money for vinyls and cds. I'm quite proud of my collection (you can take a look under http://www.discogs.com/collection?user=Tatsu ) and I think I have some rare stuff like the Pleiadians EP with the star map scarfed on it and other old EPs and CDs. Chakra & Edi Mis - Promised Land, v/A Goa Tel-Aviv, some CDs from Melodia Records and other stuff.
I have over 700 CDs and vinyls, but not all are psy. Some is also trance, house and other electronic music.
There are still a lot of old-school CDs and vinyls I want but at the moment I have to take care of my money, so I don't think I will get much old stuff in the next few months. |

well, i can call myself a trance collector!
i have around 70 original trance cd's.
my rarest cd i think is "classic trax- a mix by dj guy sebbag"
a cd i would realy like to have is New pagan world by harel prussky and all the dragonfly releases..
and of course RA- to sirius |

I consider myself a collector... In the sense that I'm addicted to getting new music on weekly basis... Most of my electronic collection is listed here: http://www.discogs.com/user/DeathPosture - All originals of course... Besides what's listed @ Discogs I have about 1000 more CDs in all genres... I have a few rare items in my collection, and I like to hunt down hard-to-find rarities... But my collection pales in comparison with some of the heavyweight collectors I know... *wink*
