Is there anyone coming from L.A. that's passing by Long Beach on the way down? I need a ride for me and a friend and we'll help with gas. Otherwise, I will have to drive my 36 year old bus

Is this still on? Where is it being held? It's a quarter to six and I'm just sitting around the house. I suppose I'll miss this one tonight, though I really did want to go.
I'd drive by and take you and your friend Julie, but I can only carry one passenger unless we squeeze into the front, or have someone lay in the back. I can still shift gears with three people in the front, but the center seat is kind of crowded for the person sitting there. Long Beach is about twenty miles from here. Maybe next time? I have to be back here by 11:30 AM tomorrow, so it's probably not such a good idea for me to take you, unless you can get a ride back later. Sometimes two one way rides can work better than a round trip ticket.
