Omri Harpaz AKA omi was born at 1977, since his early childhood omi was
attracted to music, during the years omi experimented in many styles of
music from heavy metal throw punk ,new age and garage.
In the age of 15 omi had discovered the electronic music and was
immediately drawn to it. In the beginning omi used to listen and been
influenced by hardcore and gabber music but then one day after going to
a trance party omi had seen the light and had found the path that you
will take him throw out his future.
Omi had started djing all over Israel and soon enough his name was widely
spoken among the party people as one of the best djs around.
The rumor about Omi?s talent and unique style had also been passed
overseas and omi had stared playing all over the globe, omi played in
Germany, Holland, Belgium, Portugal, Russia, USA, Kenya, Japan and Mexico.
Omi played in various kinds of parties from small underground parties
to massive festivals.
After djing for a few years omi had reached a point in his life that he
felt that he needs to rise another level and he had started to produce.
In his early days of producing omi was producing under the name of
?digital manta? at those days omi?s main influence and style was
progressive trance. ?Digital manta? released a few tracks in major labels
as ?MDMA? and ?vision quest?.
After mastering the art of producing omi had decided to once again to raise
another level and formed his current live act and producing name as ?40%?.
?40%? is mainly influenced by the rapid changes in the trance scene and is
on the more full on side of the trance music.
?40%? music can not be pointed down as a specific kind of trance it has
much diversity and is very unique style in the trance scene.
?40%? had many releases in the best labels of the trance all over the world
such as ?TIP world?, ?Chemical crew?, ?Third eye? , ?Spliff music?,? Sirius?,
?Moonspirit?, ?Crystal matrix? and more.
During the year 2004 Omi had compiled a compilation for ?Sirius? a label
based in Tokyo Japan, the name of this compilation is ?Transparent Image?
and it was a huge success all over the globe.
During the years of producing omi had a few collaborations with important
artists in the trance scene such as: skazi, Joti, Paul taylor, Blt, Exaile,
Paranormal attack, beat on fobia , rocky and many more.
Omi is signed with ?chemical crew records?, and as for today he is working
on the debut album of ?40%? that is due to be released during 2006.

from 12:30 til 02:00 - 40% dj set(chemical crew - israel)
from 02:00 til 04:00 - LUIS and JUGGERNAUT(dreamcatcher)

From What I know the last two partys have been dead after 2 am (For whatever reason) but his Time slot is the hotest, This is a Killer line-up, can't wait.

Leo, you ment Friday night in Spirit, right? 
But yeah, definiatlly Omi will give us fantastic experience. I've seen him play a couple of times and it's quite impressive. I'm looking forward to both of these parties

well - i have a problem with brandon adams - so called dj..... learn to mix bro! thats tip no.1 there is no reason why you should come out of the bedroom before you know how to do so... a carbon based jukebox is not what we need man.... babla you werent there i missed checking out your package and ass.... damn. luis - what is going on with your track selection man? its like u played one good track by a master artist called contra i think... the rest was pure shiite. you also need to learn how to mix - at your age and with your so called experience of playing infront of 10,000+ people on mtv brazil, i think beatmatching should be something u can do no? you both really killed my trip - stick to what youre best at - salsa and hip hop.
omi omi omi... is that even music what you played? all i heard was boom boom boom... also- learn how to mix man - next time i wanna see all the dj's with one hand tied behind their back and the other tied to the ceiling. how will they mix? i dont know, figure it out! also they need to be blindfolded and cannot use the headphones at all. that is a real dj - im only saying this because i can do it... i have done it and i have full crudentials to back it up
