One of my fav psychedelic albums is:
King Crimson - In the court of the crimson king. I think it has the total genuine psy essence from the 60s full of depth, love and soul. Its epic.

Santanas performance in woodstock in 1969 is pretty amazing, look at the faces he makes. You can tell he is giving it everything:

well in regards to Pink Floyd..
I really love this last part of Atom Heart Mother, specially those guitars after that amazing cello part around minute 2:00 on this clip, those guitars scream with soul and take off in such a divine way:
And this one is less known but I think its totally psychedelic:
and there are so many more..

No wonder Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy from Gong went on to create the awesome system 7 and Pepler and Hinton from the ozrics formed eat static. Any others moving from space rock music to psy?
