I recently was blessed with this experience where two of my close friends and I indulged in a drop each. The empathy and telepathy was simply speechless.

The hight of the journey was when we put on two albums, 'In Abestia' by Porcupine Tree and 'Dark side of the moon' by Pink Floyd. These were DVD's recorded in DTS 5.1; which means we were surrounded by five sepperate channels of sound. This in its self gives another element of atmosphere and panning.

When I listen to music normally, I disect the layers of different sounds or instruments. Then I am free to contrast which layers I want. As this method developed for me I could begin to comprehend more sound simultaneously and even overlap my own imagined sound with it. But nothing could compare to this level.

I stepped into this already having past thought that this particular substance was cabable of widening your perception of energy and the senses, synesthesia etc.
When the sounds past through me, they came from every direction. For five to six hours I sat dumb-founded. I found that I was able to comprehend every layer and every sound down to the absolute detail simultaneously from every direction. I felt the sounds with my body, saw the sound in colour, taisted the emotion. Near this point is where I felt the lines fade distinguishing 'me' as intrernal and the rest of the universe. No lines between thought or the sences.
Just vibrations within chaos.
Eternal moment.

Has anybody ever experienced anything along these lines?

It's time to move on to the next step in the psychedelic revolution. We've reached a certain point, but we're not moving any more.

Another word I have for that is 'contrast'.
Two elements induvidually different but together a whole new element completely just as black and white can produce many shades of grey.
I can see this on so many levels in music, fundumentally bring together 'High'and 'Low'.
Look at a band for example.

Each seperate person and instrument are unique but when they are brought together, a new contrast of sound is created. Percussion brings the structure, the bass guitar brings melody to the percussion, the lead guitar acts as a counter part adding a 'high' to the 'low' of the bass guitar and finially if there are vocals, they can contrast even more so which I think is the most easiest to relate to for most people.
Even further, each instrument isolated can show this too. Look at drums there is contrast between the 'high' and 'low' of the kick drum, varied toms, symbols and hats.
There is an element of 'high' and 'low' contrast between the two guitars, each isolated melody moving from one chord to another making them stand out from each other.
Again, you can see this contrast within one extracted sound wave comprised of many 'highs' and 'lows' to make that sound unique.

I really think that this process is infinite within all life, or could be seen as opposing forces.
High & Low,
Here & Then,
Far & Near,
Long & Short,
Male & Female,
Black & White
Yes & No,
Wright & Wrong,
Good & Bad.
An even contrast from both are need to achieve balance.           - - - - - - - -
